Totally Bamboo Mixing Spoon Bamboo Cooking Utensil

It has a longer handle than I wanted but everything else is great.

I was given my first Totally Bamboo spoon. It was like, wow, it is strong, large and feels like it will last a lifetime. I am just impressed by this brand's bamboo 14" kitchen tool. I have bought several other tools from Totally Bamboo and have been equally impressed in the quality.

Damaged handle and crack in the main spoon. I will still keep it and use it because I won’t need it too often. Not bad but not great.

I got all the utensils in this line (I think) for use in my enameled cookware, but when I had occasion to use this one, it was with one of my cast iron pans.These are hefty and sturdy, and I didn't think it would be able to get underneath the food. But it did, and beautifully so. I've cooked the same thing before and used my silicone flipper, and the thing fell apart or broke apart. If I'm not mistaken, the silicone spatula is thinner than this by far. I'm not sure what made it work so well, but it did! Maybe the rigidity, maybe the angle . . .In any case, I'm so glad I bought this and had it on hand!I didn't rate the durability, because I just got it, just used it for the first time, and haven't washed it yet. I'll update in six months or so if I remember to do so. But all in all, I'm glad to have invested in this!One word to the wise: If you're like me and can't always visualize the size of something by looking at the specs, these are BIG. Someone with small hands might find them a bit awkward to work with.

Super easy to clean and doesn't stain. Love it.

This is a great kitchen tool but the prongs are smaller than I expected so I usually only use it for smaller pasta and use one with longer prongs for spaghetti.

This is an outstanding product. I'll be looking for more from this manufacturer in the future.

Bought this for my wife last year and she hasn't hit me with it yet, so A+!Wooden spoons usually last us only a few years, which is fine - they're wood and don't cost much. Some people talk about maintaining your wooden spoons with some type of oil... blah blah blah. My only rule is to try to keep the thing from soaking in liquid for too long - that usually destroys them. I've had a few spoons like this that are made of strips of wood glued/pressed together - I really abused one of my previous spoons and it literally came apart at the seams! This one is still holding strong.This spoon has some sort of glossy coating to it that makes it look nice. After about a year the coating is starting to wear on the "spoon" end and the wood itself is showing a little wear, but still going strong.

While I initially loved how thin this spatula was, with lovely bamboo pieces, it unfortunately started to break apart after several weeks of use. One piece on either side of the spatula have broken off, leaving only the three in the middle. It would be great if more durable.

I have a Jonathan Spoons ladle that I looove so much! I want to get another one, but shipping and taxes from the US cost a lot and I was hoping this one would be a good alternative. The scoop was nice and deep but the it was bigger and heavier than what I expected. I suppose it's ok for the price. Oh, and mine had no weird smell as mentioned in the other reviews.
