great strings!
iv put aquila strings on all my uke's now from my ultra cheap kohala to my very nice leolani which have made a great improvment to all my ukes. now i just put these strings on my new mulucky banjolele which came with some very flat crappy sounding and with these new strings it sounds much brighter and rings like i expected. i would highly recomend aquila strings for any uke they make cheap ukes sound great and nice ukes sound better! the banjo uke strings are plenty long for a concert banjolele after installed i cut off roughly 6 inchs of extra unneeded string from each string... my dog has fleas! :)

Perfect for my Banjo Ukulele!
I've only had my banjo ukulele for barely a year when the A string randomly popped off while not being used. (Which is common for newer ukes as the knot of the string can be too small and slip through the hole.) So I ordered these strings just to replace that one. I was nervous that it being made out of a different material than the rest of the strings would cause a change in sound. But it sounds perfect!! There's only a slight difference in color but it doesn't bother me. So if you need strings or even just one string for your banjo uke, these are perfect!

These are the strings you are looking for...
Wow what a difference!I replaced the (unknown) strings that came on my Recording King concert banjolele with these, and it sounds so much better! The banjolele had sounded kind of dull with the original strings, and it now has a more lively, banjo-y sound.I had also tried the LaBella banjolele strings, but the Aquilas win hands-down. Highly recommended!2018: Still loving these strings, and it's (probably past) time to order more. I now also have a TFW banjolele, and you can bet I put this strings on it straightaway - it sounds even better than the Recording King. I'm trying out a Fremont Soloist low G string but I think a 'regular' wound string would be better so will be trying the Aquila 9U for just the low G. Too bad they don't make low G banjolele strings.

High G a no brainer for the Banjolele!
I'm using the Aquilla (high G) strings on my Lanakai Banjolele and am extremely pleased with the results. I'm a clawhammer player and love the very bright sound they give. The high G affords a wonderful drone.

Sounds like a banjo uke.
My dad broke a string on his ukulele banjo and tried two sets of uke strings, and they just didn’t sound or tune right. These strings are perfect. Had them put on at a local music store and it sounds like a ukulele banjo again. Sounds great!

You either like Aquila or you don't
These strings will fit soprano and concert size banjo ukuleles as well as a few tenor sizes. Banjo ukuleles need longer strings to accommodate the length between the bridge and the end of the tailpiece where to affix the string. Regular soprano and concert strings are not long enough. They have all the features and sound that players are used to with Aquila products. You either like Aquila or you don't, but if you do these are the ones that will fit your banjo ukulele.
