Phone Case for Alcatel Onetouch Pop Icon A564c/7040T Rugged Heavy Duty Armo Cover Blue Stand

I had purchased this case for my grandfather's Alcatel One Touch but I must have missed a detailed because it was too big. I know it would have been a sturdy case because of purchases that I had made for similar cases that I bought for myself & family members. The only bad thing is that there are no instructions on how to put the case on your phone but I had a knowledge from previous experiences. For those who are struggling, take the black rubber on the outside of the case off & pop the plastic blue part open with your thumb pressed on the built-in stand. Then proceed to pull it apart with the other hand.

I love this phone case! Had it for months. I'm ordering a new one because I forgot my phone on top of the car and when I hit the expressway and hit 70 mph It flew off the car and I heard it, so I looked in the rear view mirror to see it hit the pavement an smash into several pieces. We got off at the next exit and went back to that spot. I needed the phone anyway for the warranty. It had bounced off the road to the side luckily so no big truck ran it over. The cover came off but was not broke and the battery came out. I took all of it back to the car and it all fit back together and my phone works great! The screen was not damaged. The rubber part held it to the roof. If I would have not taken the highway It would have still been there when I got home. The case was delivered quickly, packaged nicely, and fits the phone nicely. Just love it.

Case itself is rugged, but not so sure about the fold-out stand on the back. I am being very careful with that as it seems flimsy. The case itself was a mystery to get onto the phone - I was glad I had read some reviews before trying to figure out how to get it on (no directions on the package). Peel off the rubber skin, take apart the top and bottom halves (carefully- the plastic is the brittle type), slip the phone into the back, snap on the front, then put the rubber skin back on (which neatly clips onto the plastic case). My only complaint is that it's deep - I have to angle my finger tip to get into the corners for navigation buttons.

It's a great case, but it needs to come with an identifying description that it fits the One Touch Pop Icon, instead of how it is now...for some other type of Droid that is the same dimensionally as the Pop Icon. I thought that I had the wrong case.DIRECTIONS on how to install one's phone into it would also be appreciated (especially for ppl like me that are first timers at phone installation into a case).Other than that it's golden.The built in stand prop is nice too.Enjoy!! 😁

I love this case. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars was because the only problem with it is the kick stand isnt super dependable. So if that's why you're getting it then I wouldn't get this one, but if you're getting it for protection and don't want to spend a fortune on like an otter box than yeah this is great. And the kickstand isn't like completely junk its just not SUPER dependable.

My only complaint is that it came with no instructions with ho put it on the phone without breaking it, had it not been for some of the reviews I read when I received it and was trying to put it on the phone, I would have never figured it out

A little thick, but very sturdy. The case is wonderful, however there were no instructions telling you just how to put your phone in the case! I had to write here and ask. Thankfully about 5 people knew how to TAKE THE CASE APART so you could put the phone in. Without their help I would either have broken the case or phone or I'd have had to return it as useless. So the case is great, the seller's instructions are horrible as they don't exist.

Dislike: Not as pictured, Blue & Black reversed. Like: Fits Phone very well, added Screen Protector.
