This book is very enjoyable to read with my child.

My son is obsessed with the My Weird School series, even the non fiction ones. I just love when he comes running in the room to tell me some silly fact he just learned. He loves these books so much, he spends less than a day on one book.

This is funnier than SNL!! When I picked up this book tonight for our bedtime story, my 9 year old groaned and said she’s read it twice already. I just opened to somewhere near the middle of the book randomly and started reading out loud. By the next page she’s jumped in to read the lines of the other character, Andrea, while I read Arlo’s.Besides lots of LOLs, there’s also so much information you will learn from reading this book. The Romans washed their clothes in urine, wipes their bottoms with a sponge on a stick and shared it with the fellow goers in the public toilet called a “forica”. Imagine the fun writing up a quiz of all the ancient terms your kids learned in this book, like “tepidarium”, “caldarium”, “frigidarium” (types of baths the Romans took in a bathhouse).
