Very effective quiet fan
Ordered 2 of these based on recommendations in the Amazon product reviews. Fans were well packaged, look nice, and are not as obtrusive as the usual propeller type. Both units are a lot quieter than our previous fans. Unit has a few different fan speeds and can be set to oscillate or static. Comes with a small remote which works well and can also be operated by touch buttons on the top of the fan. Set to night mode, the fan is very quiet. The fan also displays the room temperature when it is switched off. All in all, very happy with this purchase so far and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet fan.

Buggy and overpriced but I still like it
Quick edit 19/6/20: there seems to have been an update for this device it now responds to the correct values 1,2,3,3 up to 8 the fan can be switched on and running just by saying the fan speed but unfortunately it still does not offer oscillation or modes under voice but maybe in another update that will be an option or maybe I just have not found the right command yet.Ok so the good first the fan is very light weight and quiet and has quite a cold breeze blowing even on the lowest setting. Now the bad let me start by saying that the fan works and is sold enough at making a cool breeze unfortunately the software was coded wrong this translates to problems pairing and voice commands not works as expected. Let's start with the pairing first the ingenix app is just the smart life app so just use that rather than running two versions of the same thing second I could not get it to link using the two pairing methods listed in the industries (hold oscillation for 6 seconds for fast blink and mode for 6 seconds for slow blink) the app gave me a work around of making a hotspot and adding the device to my router that way once the awkward part was out of the way I looked at the voice controls on the Alexa app and found that you can only turn it on and raise or lower the fan speed but it's a little buggy I found saying fan speed to 20% got the job done however the fan only goes to 8 so the max you could set it to was 90%, why 90% ?because the 60% is bugged and only responds to 70% which makes it a point higher hence 90 rather than 80%.I think when all is said and done it's fine not worth the money in my mind but it keeps you cool providing you understand how to get the most out of it. The Smart life naturally let's you control everything including the different modes and oscillation I'll try and see if I can get that working with voice through Alexa, guess it's time to do some homework

Excellent fan
This is a really good fan. I bought it for my bedroom and gym. On the low setting its really quiet - I can sleep with the fan on. On the highest setting is gets louder but it keeps me cool while on the treadmill. I'm that happy with the fan, I'm thinking of getting another one to keep downstairs. The set up with Alexa was really simple - just downloaded the app, followed the instructions and now I can switch it on or off by voice command. I can recommend this fan - you get a lot of bang for your buck!

Doesn’t do what it’s says on the tin..
This is a great fan... quite, variable speeds, the app is easy to use, and has all the features of the remote which is handy, as for Amazon Alexa well pretty much useless, can only ask Alexa to turn fan on/off, and each time you do this, the fan resets back to airflow 1 and stops oscillating when asking Alexa to switch fan on... On a disability side the reason I bought this as it was supposed to be a SMART fan, I can’t use a remote or an app at times(night) I might as well bought a normal fan and a smart plug saving ££’s so not very smart at all without those extra voice commands

Cheap technology
I bought on the strength this product could be connected to Alexa. The tech supporting this is incredibly poor (typos in app, errors constantly, instructions out of date), and in the case of the unit I received ultimately it was not possible to connect. Whilst the fan itself is fine, quite quiet, this product is not smart tech as advertised. Very disappointing

Honestly amazing use it every day
This product is perfect quality and amazing value for money.Only problem would be I can't tell the Alexa to osc. you have to either manually do it in Alexa app and create a wake word for it or use the controller. It is a very powerful fan and it is very quiet too.My dog knocked it over aswell and honestly still works fine so yea.👍👍 Thumbs up from me👍👍

Overpriced and not very SMART!
This fan is not as SMART as it is sold to be. The firmware has some serious flaws. Works well with TUYA Smartlife as expected but that is basically just a remote. On the Alexa front functionality is so poor it’s quite frankly NOT WORTH THE MONEY.The voice functions are ON,OFF set speed 10-50% and 70-90% as 60% does not work at all. Set fan speed to 1-8 doesn’t work at all even though in the alexa app this is presented on the smart device options. You cannot set mode. Or turn on oscillation using smart functionality. Essentially to do this you use the phone app as a remote.Rather a poor offering I think on this it is clear that the firmware has serious flaws and there are fans with remote controls for less than half the cost of this. You can buy a remote control fan and a broadlink device to do what this fan does via Alexa for less and at least then your broadlink device will also replace other remotes as well.UPDATE... 09/06/20This fan does not work with TUYA smart automations at all it seems as it is not presented as such in the app. I wanted a second fan for the office and as I was unimpressed with this I was going to order the igenix digital fan instead and use it with my broadlink device, which is how I am now using this fan so I have full functionality cobbled together from Alexa. However I spotted another smart fan by ener-j on ebay new at £48. Now this fan does not have 8 speeds or the looks of the igenix fan, but it does have a resonable firmware. While it still only supports on-off faster-slower with three speeds via Alexa what it does have is TUYA smart automations so when I turn it on it will automatically start to oscillate. For £48 rather than the £120 I paid for the Igenix smart fan this is much better in the smart department although neither as stylish or as quiet as the Igenix fan.
