Lovely quality for the price, chunky design, lovely shine. Works well on white gloss doors.

Look good on a pine door. Finish is good but getting to the fixing screws is difficult as they sit under the ball handle but there's only 3 fixing screws to fit.As these were replacement handles the latch operating bar was already positioned and thus had a hole drilled through the door so I only had to position the handles on the door :-Make sure you have a good pozi type screwdriver as it can get purchase on the screws at an angle.It's awkward to mark and drill pilot holes as the handle gets in the way! My suggestion is to put masking tape on the door near to where the screws will go, make sure the handle does not hit the door frame - try opening and closing to check, then with the handle still in place mark the masking tape where the screws will go. Remove handle and drill small pilot holes then remove masking tape and fit handle.Don't be put off by my DIY suggestion above as once fitted they do look very nice and the spring action, where the handle returns to its resting position, is very positive and should release the door catch with ease.

These are a good quality handle with coating that so far has survived my dog jumping up trying to open the door by pawing the handles.They still look good and unscratched.

First day fitted so I can’t say much about longevity but already this isn’t the best door knob I’ve ever bought but then it is pretty representative of the price. Here’s why:1) This isn’t as smooth as it could be-it arrived with a small part that had sheared off in the actual surface of the dome itself which caught on my hand as I held it. Had to file it down, on a shiny surface of the face of the dome. You don’t want a metal splinter in your hand when you turn a doorknob.2) If point 1 above didn’t putt you off...the mushroom/dome is actually larger than the section that screws in which means that no matter how fine your screwdriver’s neck is, you will not be able to get the screws to go in straight and sit perfectly flush to the surface. This may not bother you; it does me.3) the dome itself is built of two parts-under the front of the dome there is a sharpish edge all around which can’t be seen but can be discerned when using the knob.4) I’d use your own screws as these are pretty soft/poor.Also do bear in mind that thIs is nickel and not chrome so it won’t match all your other chrome door furniture perfectly if that is that you’re after.All in all this review is written on the first day of receiving and fitting the item-let’s see how it goes. For me personally...i’m still looking for a doorknob that I like and this time I will pay the extra...

We have bought an old house and wanted something in-keeping with the style. These are lovely and go really well with our old oak doors.

Just received and look good and appear solidly made, but.... the screw-holes are just behind the knob and there is no way to get a screwdriver to engage squarely. An appalling design issue! Such a shame.

Exactly what I was looking for! You need to put screws in at a slight angle but I didn’t have a problem with this and it doesn’t ruin the look at all. Very happy with this purchase

The finish is not quite perfect (a little very light scratching to the lacquer), but these are priced very keenly and are perfectly fine when taking that into consideration.The supplied screws are a bit on the long side, so you may need to get some shorter screws if you're using a sashlock with this (otherwise the screws can butt up against the lock inside the door and not go all the way in).

Per me è stato perfetto. Proprio quello che cercavo. Tra parentesi la confezione conteneva 2 pomelli invece che uno come indicato nell'inserzione. Prodotto semplice da montare e di buona fattura. Consigliato. Riguardo alla consegna nulla da eccepire. Da quanto Amazon cura direttamente le consegne il servizio è migliorato molto ed i corrieri sono gentilissimi.

Confezione con 2 pomi, viti e barra quadra da 8 mm. Ottima qualità, la molla, che è presente solo su uno dei 2 pomi è ottima, mi ha risolto il problema sulla porta blindata che aveva la molla interna nella serratura oramai lenta, la maniglia non risaliva più. Consiglio.
