TAMIYA300074032 E Ring Tool, 2 mm

I have a vintage Tamiya Bigwig buggy from the 80's. If anyone has worked on these circa 80's Tamiya buggies, you know that it's a real pain to add/replace the "c" ring on the gear box joint.This tool is designed for the newer "e" rings but works just as well with the c rings. There's a slot on the tool to place the c ring and you slide it right onto the gear box joint. Removal of the the c ring is a little more difficult but is nearly impossible without one of these tools!Save yourself the headache and loss of your old c rings and purchase this tool. It's well worth the money.

I'm not compelled to review things very often, as most of the time stuff just...works. This, however, is the most useless thing I have ever owned. Getting these clips on with needle nose pliers is easy enough, so I bought this on the premise of easy removal of e-clips that wouldn't involve destroying them. It doesn't work. Stick to wrestling the damn things off with needle nose pliers, and spend your £10 on a whole bag of e-rings instead. This is just rubbish.

Handy little tool took a while to arrive.

アーケードスティックのスティックの部分をはずすために使わせていただきました。すごくいいものです。実はアーケードスティックのリングは4ミリのものでしたのでこちらとサイズがあってはいないのですが、それでも先のほうを押し当てればはずせます。無理にペンチなどを使って部品を傷つけたりせずにはずせるのでこれで問題ないです。4ミリのものがたまたま売り切れていて手に入らなかったのでこれでいけるかと思い、リングのサイズも考えずに購入しましたｗ。まあそれでも使えますよ。ただリングの溝にかちっと丸の部分ははまらないですけどね。はめるときは裏側を使いリングをまっすぐに押し込めばはまります。

使いやすくて楽。素晴らしい。だが、大きな持ち手は必要なのだろうか。安価なのでこういう意見を言うのもなんだが、先の方だけで販売すれば200円くらいで売れるのでは？っと思うとちょっと複雑な気分。ラジコン初心者には500円でも高く感じてしまうからね。そういうのをキットに同梱しても良いと思うし。

取り付けるときはラジオペンチなどでつまんだ方が素早くセットできますが本来Eリングは取り外す事を想定していないので取り外しが楽にできるこの商品はそれだけで画期的と言えます。
