Eagle Creek Travel Gear Pack It, Blue Sea 3 Pack, One Size

Eagle Creek is known for their bags, pouches, etc for travelling, esp. when backpacking. Used to backpack in Europe and Asia with their suitcases and their pouches and are reliable to keep equipment, clothes, travel gear in their bigger bags. Zippers don't break, materials are sturdy. They last almost forever (had mine for over 20 years, both pouch and cases). There's a reason why REI stores sell them. Recommend highly.

I finally caved and bought these for a cruise, where cabin space is very limited and we would be unpacking for a week. These packing cubes are incredible. I love that they open flat all the way. I actually bought a second set of compression packing cubes from an off-brand, very cheap brand. They do not compare at all to this Eagle Creek set, which unzips all around and are just better made. Lightweight, handy, these kept me organized and made packing and unpacking a breeze. My only regret is that I didn't buy more of the Eagle Creek packing cubes; I could have used 3 more at least.

Let's be real. A bag is rarely a perfect shape and sticking a bunch of cubes into it will not allow you to put more in the bag. These will, however, allow you to keep a lot more organized and help make sure you get the same items to fit every time with a lot less wrinkles. There are a lot of complaints that these aren't as big as the eBags ones but to be honest, I think that Eagle Creek is targeting the more mobile traveler. A single large fills about half my Osprey Farpoint 40 pack so it's a much less flexible option for me. When I pack my 100L rolling duffel to check at the counter, I definitely reach for my large eBags cube but for a backpack, they're simply too big and the extra weight from the heavier cubes are just not worth it to me. I normally travel with 2 full cubes, a half cube, and one or two quarter cubes depending on what I'm taking. I like the small ones for things like my running shorts/top and swim trunks because it keeps them separate from the rest of my clothes. I also use a compression stuff sack for socks and underwear since wrinkles are meaningless and I can get an extra few days' worth in there. This setup has allowed me to pack a full 10 days into my Farpoint pack without having to wash clothes. I bring small trash bags and pack my clean and dirty clothes into the same cubes they came from by wrapping them in the bags. it's been a very efficient way to travel and I've never found myself needing more. So if you are packing light and looking to maximize what you can fit into a backpack, get these. If you're packing for multiple people and/or into a huge suitcase, the ebags are more than likely what you need.

I started using packing cubes a few years ago, and subsequently switched over to the Eagle Creek ones, because they are a much better quality and construction than the flimsy ones I originally had and which started unraveling nylon in the seams. This time I purchased a pack of the XS/S/M Pack-It to add to the ones I already had. I find the M size great for packing t-shirts in, and I used the S one as an inflight bag inside my personal bag. The latter worked out great because it has dual zips which meant I could open it as little or wide as I wanted so that I didn’t end up accidentally jettisoning the contents everywhere. I managed to fit my my Kindle, Iphone, in-flight medications, a fine gauge wool shawl that I use as a small throw when I fly, and the SX cube which contained my chargers, cables and headphones.

I've used a LOT of packing cubes, and so far these are the best. Because the zipper goes all the way around (well 3 sides and a little of the forth), you really get to use it to the best of it's ability. The other NECESSARY thing is the mesh on the top. Knowing what is in there, and depending how you fold, is so key for me. I fold so that everything is vertical, not stacked. I use all the sizes all the time. I even use them for my sports gear, having one of these for my tops, bottoms or bras when on a tournament weekend is almost revolutionary to me! This are great. I'm getting a kickstarter version coming soon that I think will put these against the wall, but that is the hope, not expectation. These cubes are literally the benchmark.

El material de estas bolsas es de muy buena calidad. No es ni demasiado grueso no demasiado delgado. Suficiente para mantener su forma dentro de la maleta y mantener todo en orden. La ventana que tienen sobre la parte superior es especialmente útil para identificar lo que tienen dentro. Desde mi primera compra he vuelto a comprar otro set. En ocasiones se encuentra con buen descuento.
