Fits a 2013 X3 M class (F25) perfectly
This product is fantastic. It didnt mention the F25 chassis on the description but hoped the 'etc' on the description covered it. It did. Fit my BMW X3 2013 perfectly. As other reviewers have said, you dont need tools, all you need is the putty. HOWEVER, a couple tips with the putty - 1) make sure you take off as much of the flaking black cover on the old button first, otherwise the putty just yanks that off and leaves the button. 2) Make sure and leave the putty on for about 1 minute. If you dont and yank it immediately, it just comes off. It was so easy when I did that and popped right off. Replacement looks better than the original.

Fits LCI F10...
No issues with fitting this part into a 2014 F10 535i (LCI) engine start/stop switch. It does not stick upon pressing. This part differs from oem in two obvious ways: 1) The text word 'ENGINE' is larger than bmw's original text and 2) the button itself looks more flat than oem making it appear like it sticks up more. However, neither of these affect fit or function and given this is 10X cheaper than the bmw switch it's not bad. I did not use the glue stick to remove the original, but it probably works fine per other reviews. I disassembled the switch as far down as I could and unclipped the locking tabs. The back sides of the oem and this button look similar. GL.

Button too big
The button was sticking in the switch had to grind it down to make it work (like it was tapered ) then taps broke from removing it too many times, the only reason for replacing the old one was the writing came off But I got it to work

It works but a little sticky - SOLVED
Easy to take off the original cover with the provided clay. Just make sure you press the clay on and massage it on the button, then pull fast like you are removing a bandaid from a child's arm. The new button did not go on well at first. I had to take it off and do it again. It is still a little tight when pressing. I am still giving it 5 stars because I am sure I did something wrong when applying the new button cover. Overall, if you are concerned that you will mess up, don't be. The worst that could happen is the button does not come off the first time. Just try again. Update 4/25/25 - Well I think I may have solved the problem. I took the cover out and using a towel, applied a very thin layer of silicone lubricant to the outside of the cover, and wipe any excess off. Put the cover back in the switch and now it slides smoothly in and out. So it could very well be the paint on the cover, I don't know. But, it now works.

Works and Looks Great, but Putty does not work to take out Button
Had to buy stronger putty from a hardware store, but once I got the old one out it fit well and looks good. Great for the price.

No es igual al original
Se ve de buena calidad pero no es igual al original. Las letras son más grandes y el botón es plano a diferencia del original que es más curvo
