Lutron Claro 2 Gang Decorator/Rocker Wallplate, Gloss, White (48-Pack) | CW-2-WH

I am really impressed with how these switch covers look. I have always used the white metal switch covers in my home because I thought they looked better than those cheap plastic ones. Then I started using the Lutron Caseta smart switches and discovered these covers. I love not being able to see the screws! It gives a much cleaner, more professional look! It would appear that these covers will work with any switch, so I will eventually replace all of my covers.

These wall plates look beautiful against almost any color wall. The screws are hidden, providing a very clean and modern look for your switches. We pair these with the Lutron Cassetta switches which work great.These work by installing a bracket plate first using screws. You then have a separate 2nd cover that snaps into place. Be sure to snap all sections as it can give the appearance of being uneven, especially in the middle, if not all snaps are secured. You may think you're going to break it when removing the snapped piece, but so far we haven't broken any and we've done quite a few in our house.The only downside is that, depending on your switches, you may need to loosen or tighten the plate or the switch to get them perfectly flush. This takes some time, but after over a dozen switches, I've always gotten it to sit flush.

I love these things! It should be noted I have tried Leviton's version as well and they do not offer the quality and look these, the Lutron's do.Yes, you are going to spend much more with these than a traditional .20 cent outlet cover but.... why not? They look so cool and really give a nice finished look to your walls especially on a tiled kitchen back splash. Why not spend the little extra and finish of a tiled back splash or a nicely painted wall.... you spend the money on nice tile or similar and a high quality paint then slap a crappy outlet cover up with stripped screws? To me just doesn't seem right, but thats just my opinion. The high gloss to them make a super slick and easy to clean surface. I'm sold!

Easy to install. I mean, how hard is it to change an electrical cover plate? Really! I very much like the look of these cover plates. I like getting rid of exposed screw heads. Very clean lines. Though, a bit fragile and thin. The plastic makes sounds, not unlike breaking plastic, when top and bottom are "clicked" together during installation. Not looking forward to removing them, in years to come, for painting or any other reason. Other than, perhaps, to replace them all. Would not have killed anybody to use a bit better quality, less fragile plastic. Great design, poor execution, acceptable appearance. Just what we have come to expect from Chinese manufacturing of all U.S. consumer products.

There is NOTHING wrong with this product. For me I had to return because I was looking and had thought it might be of satin color. It is in fact HIGH GLOSS black. It stats that on the package and I did not notice that at the time. I found what I was looking for on another brand that had Satin/Matte Black. I will say this, it it built and designed very well. Just be aware of the high gloss black.

Two pieces that make a flush panel. The picture is just the top visual portion, behind it is a piece that you screw onto the switches themselves. With this you attach it to the 2 gang setup, then screw them into place. BUT you need to be sure that you adjust the depth that you screwed them into the wall properly in order to ensure the switches are flush with the top portion that will cover this piece. About a 1/4 inch, give or take, raised from the other surface so when you snap this in place it looks great. If you missed the mark you can CAREFULLY remove hte cover and make the adjustments.

We bought a very old house that needed some fixing up. We spent our entire budget redoing the entire kitchen and have no money left over for any of the other areas that could also use a good updating. Instead, I’ve chosen to focus on the small things that make a house look rundown and old. Some of those things are old hinges that have been painted over, old light switches, old light switch faceplates, old door knobs and hardware, and drapery rods. I love these Lutron faceplates. They gave a clean modern look and have really helped disguise the age of our home without a lot of money or effort. I definitely recommend these.

I recommend these Lutron Claro wallplates for use anywhere you have a Decora-style device (switch or receptacle) and want a screwless appearance. This includes Lutron switches and dimmers, as well as other brands (Leviton, for example).The finished appearance, with no screws visible, is elegant: clean and neat.I have used Lutron Claro wallplates, as well as Leviton Decora Plus screwless wallplates, and I prefer the Lutron because they are easier to install. The final appearance is similar, and they both have a two piece design with a base plate that is screwed to the switch, and a finishing plate that snaps in to the base plate. However, mounting the base plate of the Leviton Decora Plus wallplate is more difficult because the base plate is held by the screws that mount the switch in the electrical box, while the Lutron Claro base plate is attached to the device using the screw holes that are used to mount a conventional wallplate.After a recent kitchen remodel, I decided to replace the standard wallplates on the countertop backsplash with screwless ones. Since the switches and receptacles were all Leviton, I bought Leviton Decora Plus wallplates to ensure they would match. It took much longer to install the Decora Plus wallplates, because I had to loosen the mounting screws for the devices and then line everything up, than it has taken me to install Claro wallplates.

These are so great. They work as well as Lutron but you don’t have that extra line visible like they do! At first I was frustrated because it wasn’t flush with the wall and leaving a gap and then I realized I was putting the base on backwards.... I do find that they work way better with my new switches and plugs as my old one are more pushed into the wall which creates a bit of a gap. This happened with the more expensive brands as well.

I would like to give this a five star rating, however on THREE separate orders only one plate was delivered. I give it two stars because on my first order I actually did get two as described. Overall the product is spot on and it is only the very poor execution of deliveries that make me give it such a bad rating. To be fair AMAZON did refund my money after online chatting with them, but it takes 15 minutes out of my day to recover $8. Not time well spent.

Just put in some recessed lighting and needed a nice double switch plate. This is quite elegant and a bit oversized which is nice if the hole in the wall isn't perfect. Of note the big box store costs 20% more and with Amazon I had it for less money, next day and I didn't have to drive to go get it.

I absolutely love these. I got a few free with Lutron Caseta smart switches, and they're just so well designed that I ended up replacing most of the wallplates in my house with these. You can adjust the switches through holes behind the cover plate; the mounting screws for the plates are Philips head which makes them easier to install with a power tool; and they are significantly larger than traditional wall plates, so they cover damaged or poorly cut holes much better.If you're looking to buy new wallplates, these are far and away my number 1 recommendation.
