Perfect.
Fits perfectly. Not yet used the steamer since but it looks identical and great quality. Mine is the SC2. Old one seized up with lime scale and had to break the plastic and use a big socket to remove old one.

Good as the original
The first one jammed unrecoverable after 5 or more years this item restored the steamer to it's original order.

Renewed Safety valve on Karcher Steam Cleaner
The original safety valve was limescale seized in the up position.It could be turned but not unscrewed to allow access to the water reservoir.It needed to be replaced! YouTube video from spares suppliers showed the 'simple' ways, none of which worked!I sorted it myself and the new valve arrived when promised and ultimately screwed in beautifully!

Need to clean threads carefully
It works fine always clean the female/male threads after use, to avoid sticking.RegardsPeter

OK but replacements shouldn't be necessary
This will be the 3rd safety valve I've had to fit to my Karcher floor steamer. Given the price of these as spare parts I've now spent more on the valves than the original cost of the steam cleaner! As such I've decided to cut my losses & consign my original steamer to the bin & buy a new one that does not use this flawed safety valve device.
