I will never buy this product again. This was our third year of use and the winter cover did not hold up it disintegrated allowing light to come through unbeknownst to us. Upon opening the pool it was filled with black algae. Therefore I will never purchase this item again.

I purchased multiple covers for our pool and for my daughter's pool because they claim "Crafted from high-quality polyethylene, the Blue Wave 12-year Solid Winter Cover is built to last. ..offers reliable, long-term protection for your pool." My experience with these covers is they only last less than one season. Our last cover started to fail within 3 months, from Sep to Dec. Come spring, there were gaping holes which needed to be taped over. See photos. After several emails with photo evidence and proof of purchase evidence, Bluewave Products offers to send a replacement cover after I pay The shipping cost is $29.19. So after all the time I wasted pleading my case to them, if I send them $29.19, I will get the same poor quality cover which may last for a few months. Garbage, waste of time. My daughter's cover did not make to a second season, either. Customer service team is also a waste of time. No consideration.

I purchased this pool cover, the aluminum winch broke prior to even using it due to a defect. I contacted Amazon who deferred me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent me a replacement winch, which I appreciated, but failed on the spring assembly this time. I couldn't believe how poorly these winches were made. I contacted them again, and they essentially told me I was on my own (go to the hardware store) because they are out of stock. Not pleased. I made it work eventually, but still not what I was expecting.
