There were to hand out to my wife and young drivers and they haven't lost their keys since they got new key keepers.

As received the spring is too tight and the angle on it is all wrong. With the clip over the right hip trying to actuate the spring using your thumb is next to impossible. The key ring needs to be held at the bottom and enough force applied with your thumb to clear the ring. In the attached photograph I solved a couple of problems and made it useful for me.One: This modification I used with a previous belt clip that I wore for 50 years on a daily basis. That is to add a piece of leather to the back side to keep the methal clip from wearing a hole in the pants at the bottom of the belt. I used a two part epoxy (super glue failed after a few weeks).Modifications: First I took a pair of needle nose pliers and bent the tip of the spring as far into the clip as I could. Spring steel will yield past a certain point. This put a small angle on the tip of the spring wchich makes it much easier to get the key ring started and a bit of a bend in the remainder which helps with tension.Second: A slight bend outwards on the bottom of the clip means the spring doesn''t have to be actuated quite as far to release the key ring.Lastly a slight bend outwards on the top of the key ring gives a little relief to the spring tension.Even with these modifications it still is plenty stiff enough and when the key ring is inserted it snaps shut with a resounding click.If the manufactuerer would put a small bend on the end of the spring it would make it much easier to get a key ring started.Doing this modification takes a fair amount of force and could end up breaking your unit. Mine took the abuse and I still have the second one to also modify.I hope this is helpful.

I like this baby key belt very well. It is flintiness. Highly recommend you guys to buy this one. Easy use for your car’s key and your gate’s key!

3 stars only. I wanted replacements for my old "secure-a-key" brand made in USA that I've had for years. This item is nearly identical, but by design the spring tab is too long. Drop in a large diameter key ring, and it's trapped. The long spring tab prevents easy removal, needs 2 hands. It needs to be 3/16" shorter. I'll try to bend it open, cut it off & de-burr it, but if it's spring steel it's tough. I don't think the seller really ever used this item for what it needs to be. This item needs re-design. When that's done then it gets 5 stars.

I always have been lost keys but aftet got this one I did not lose it. Because when I go out I can put it on my belt so I do not need to waste of time to find out keys. It made my life more convinient.
