Trumpeter Sturer Emil: Highly Detailed Model
Clear instructions. Excellent part fit. Some parts require clean up. Great addition to WWII armor collection.

The worst Trumpeter ever
Wow what a piece of junk, this is not a normal trumpeter it has terrible rubber tracks says it also comes with plastic, material is substandard two piece barrel, no photo edge a complete waste of time to even think about wasting your time to building this plie . Unless you are 8years old. Buyer Beware this is a 50.00 trash bin.

Honestly worth it.
Only had one issue, no crew but it has every other thing you'd really want from a model tank, a detailed inside, ammo storage and accessories for the crew.

Great model. A few minor complaints
I bought this kit from another retailer, because of pricing being better. Overall, it is a really nice kit. Lots of detail. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is because there was a lot of flashing. A few pieces, the barrel and the breach also required putty to fill in gaps where they pieced together. Besides these few complaint, it was definitely an enjoyable model to build.

Model Builder
I purchased this kit primarily because I was looking for something different to build something other than Tiger tanks, Panther tanks, and Sherman tanks. Lets be realistic; you can only build so many of those tanks no matter how many different versions there are or how much they may be your favorites. This kit is definately something different. I am pretty knowledgeable on German WW II armoured vehicles, but I did not know that this vehicle ever existed. So my educational value from this kit was exceeded. This kit practically builds itself. Very few, if any, fit problems. Quite a few small parts, so be careful. About the only bad comment I can give is that the road wheels are multi pieces, at least three parts per wheel. That made no sense to me, but I wasn't invited to the board meeting when the manufacturer designed this kit. The track shoes are just a little to long, so all you "professionals" will want some after market tracks shoes. This kit is great out of the box. I used an after market gun barrel on my kit because I thought that it looked much more menacing than the kits gun barrell. I forgot about the weight difference of the after market barrell (it would not sit properly) and had to glue it in place. Instruction sheet is pretty straight-forward and easy to follow. There is also a color paint guide for the 2 vehicles that were actually built and saw action during the Battle of Stalingrad. The paint scheme suggested painting vehicle an over-all German gray color, but I deviated and painted mine over-all dark yellow with green/brown spots - thought it looked better. Generic decal sheet with some tank-kill rings for the barrel, German crosses, and unit markings. Some crew members and tank rounds to fill in the empty trays would have been nice also. This is a model kit and construction is required. Paint/glue sold separately. Great kit!!!!!
