Hypnotic Scripts That Work: The Breakthrough Book Version 7.0 Paperback – August 1, 2007

This book has a ton of excellent usable scripts that can be modified or added to without disruption the flow. The 'confusion' method he uses works beautifully for the client that just won't 'let go'. Great value

This book is full of powerful positive motivational scripts that touch deep into the subconcious I am seeing great results with all my clients as well as myself each therapy goes both ways. Well A book for every hypnotherapist.  Hypnotic Scripts That Work: The Breakthrough Book Version 7.0

Just had to stop by and tell you what a powerful hypnotherapy session I had with a client yesterday using one of the first reduce anxiety scripts from your book, "Hypnosis Scripts that Work V 7.0" I've read plenty of script books, and I will say the way you word and maximize that time that I have as i call it, "under the hood (of the car)" aka when the client is in hypnosis and I am talking directly to the subconscious, the wording is simply brilliant, nothing is left to chance, each word just seems to be more powerful than the previous word and each idea builds up on the previous one. Just had to say thank you for making such a powerful tool for hypnotherapists to use in helping us give our clients the best possible care! This is a must for any serious hypnotherapist (Actually all 3 books by John are a must!) After the session, my client told me, " I just feel like I can go out and slam out my work like a BOSS and that nothing can stop me. Like, I can actually see myself doing well in life and it’s SO much nicer than what my previous outlook was. I feel like nothing can stop me right now: Nothing can stop me. I can already tell some of the effects: I feel absolutely relaxed, every part of my muscles have unwound and it feels so amazing. I’m noticing a huge change, I haven’t felt this fantastic in years" Now that is powerful hypnosis!

Sorry John! I am a Licensed NLP Trainer and was only interested in how to do what we do in 15 minutes in NLP using traditionals hypnosis and I didn't want to take the time to 'think' about it. Scripts are to be read only by hypnotists to perhaps get an idea or maybe even a single sentence out of a whole book -- NEVER read scripts to a client. If you can get some info from this book, good, but if you know NLP, forget it. I also teach Hypnotherapy and found the book redundant in that regard.John has made another product with a friend that was quite interesting.

I've not had need to use this book as I had expected; however regardless if I don't use the scripts from the book, it's always good to have something like this on the shelf for inspiration and ideas for writing my own scripts. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is a great book, that cleary communicates the authors positive love for hypnosis and heling clients do well. The froward was written by Ormond McGill, and this book has to contain at least 125 complete hypnosis sessions for everything from multiple smoking cessation scripts to healing heartbreak, pain management and just abou anything you can think of. I frequently print-out some scripts and bring them into sessions with me, and find that Mr. Cerbone is a script writer that can be trusted. If you are serious about hypnotherapy, get this book, I *really* do use it and so will you.

While there appears to be something for almost any "condition" you could imagine, I found the scripts cumbersome, lacking rhythm (despite my best efforts) and some were just too long. I think the book of scripts is a great starting point for someone who isn't afraid to improvise and personalize for each client.

I love this book and recommend it to all my students upon their Hypnosis Certification as a 'Recommended Tool' in their hypnosis library.

This book does what it says on the cover! It's concise, practical, modern approach is very easy to use and will appeal to both beginner and advanced. It is packed with well written and highly effective professional scripts (none of that archaic stuff you usually find) thus making it an extremely versatile and valuable resource. The author uses some very interesting metaphors and it is linguistically superb for those NLP guru's amongst you. Highly recommended and up to date - would be a very useful addition to any Hypnotist's collection!
