This a metal top cover for the 36" Blackstone Griddle. It is well made and provides a "lid" that covers the giddle portion. It fits well and it is made out of a heavy grade "diamond plate" aluminum. The fact that it is made aluminum means it not supper heavy to lift on or off. It comes with two (heay duty) clips mounted on the underside that allows you to hang it on the back edge of the griddle when you are using the griddle. It can act as a bit of a wind guard while you are using the griddle. It comes with a handle of the front that you have to assemble when you first get the cover but it easy to attach. The only minor issue is, while it was reasobly well packaged in styrofoam and heavy cardboard box, two the corners were *slightly* bent (but not enogh to interfere with its operation). The handle is is made of stainless steel and the bolts are also stainless (nice touch) and the cover is is pre-drilled where the handle gets mounted. It comes with two washers (which get mounted on the inside when pushing the bolts trough the cover to mount the handle. I could only ask for two minor improvements: 1) better/stiffer packaging on the corners of the box to prevent damage to while in shipping and 2) the back washers for the handle mount should have been "split" washers to prevent the screws from backing out or losening during long term use. Neither would have warnted returing the item (replacing the supplied washers with split washers easy find and replace or you can just put a drop or two of locktite on the threads). Other than that, the shipping was pretty good (about a week or so) and it is a quality product from a quality reseller. I am pretty sure the packaging is from the orginal manufacture (China) but adding a couple of corner protectors would not add much cost and might avoid some product returns (some other reviwers have had the same complaint about the corners being slighty bent). Overall, very pleased with the product.

Ok. I don't normally write reviews but in this case I felt I needed to. The order I placed with Premium Home Discounts arrived with a few issues. Inside the box was a postcard stating that they are a 'small family owned' business and to please notify them of any issues. I wrote an email to the company expressing my concerns and within 24 hours they replied. Not only did they promise to correct what was wrong - they also issued me a 50% credit for my troubles. I liked the light weight. The edges are very sharp.After putting the top on the correct way it fits well. I'm hoping the wind doesn't blow the lid off hen hanging since it is so light weight. I did see after purchasing a similar top that was $40 cheaper. I guess if We hadnt thrown the packaging away I would have returned it to get the cheaper one.Overall its a decent cover but will see how it holds up over the summer grilling saeson.

Good quality and aluminum so should not rust. Good balance of thickness and light weight.What did not work for me was the slant when covering the griddle area. This would be a great feature in the elements to drain water quickly, but my griddle is under a covered pavilion.I made a quick modification to level it out to better use as a table when needed. You will need a sharpie, Phillips screwdriver, drill with 1/4” bit, plus 2 of each: 1/4” x 2” round head bolt, 1/4” nut, 1/4” flat washer, 1/4” fender washer, and 1/4” cap nut.1) Place the flat washers in between the raised corrugated areas near the front corners and mark the center with a sharpie.2) Drill your two holes.3) From outside in assemble: bolt > flat washer > griddle cover > fender washer > nut >cap nut.Throw on a little loctite if you’re worried about it loosening.Sits level now.

This thing came just as described, fits like a glove, looks amazing and does the job that’s needed at a price that cannot be beat! I love the look, for and functionality of it. I have a different brand flat top(Sam’s club) and it fits wonderfully. So excited for this to keep the rain water out.

Updated review.Amazed that through rain and the hot humid summer there was ZERO condensation under the grill lid and our grill top stayed totally dry. Even with the grill lid on and the cover on top….no condensation. This was initially a concern, but clearly not one I needed to worry about. We can now keep our grill on the back deck instead of garage and get a ton more use from it.Just arrived today. Will update review if need be depending on wear and use.My only issue is (see pics for reference) that the large washers that “were” suppose to fit snug next to the lip part of the handle inside are to big. There’s no way they work so we simply didn’t use the lip and just screwed the handle on without it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Fits great on a Blackstone 36" Griddle. Has plenty of room for thedrip tray in the back as well. Wood definitely recommend to those looking for a simple cover to protect you griddle. Only criticism I would have would be have better QC before you ship the cover. I had a small dent in mine, but was able to fix it with a little hammering.

It’s built with flimsy metal so it is warped. I think it could be cut closer to the griddle plate size. Does provide a quick cover after cleaning and throughout the day if you don’t have a bs lid
