I love this pencil! This is honestly the best mechanical pencil I've ever used. Very comfortable and easy to hold, a nice bit of weight to it, and the points are retractable. They are a bit expensive as far as pencils go, but the quality makes them well worth the price, especially with the pack of leads and stick eraser included. I use them primarily for drawing and have them in a few different sizes. I don't use the leads it came with for drawing (I prefer Faber Castell or Staedler leads for that) but I do use them for writing. The pencil's eraser, (hidden under the button) is surprisingly very good. A lot of people complain about them being tiny, but when it wears down all you have to do is remove it and push more of it up, they're actually pretty long. The stick eraser works well too. The triangle shape is great because it gives you 3 corners and 3 edges to use. The case is a little bulky though, and starts to get in the way when the eraser gets low.

This pencil is absolutely amazing. Coming from other mechanical pencils such as the zebra and other pentel pencils, this pencil definitely takes the cake. The major selling point for this pencil is the retractable tip that allows me to hold the pencil in my pocket without accidentally stabbing myself. This pencil works great for things ranging from drafting to taking notes. I will note that the knurling on the barrel may take some getting used to if you are coming from a softer grip, but once you get used to it the knurling offers better grip and higher control than a fully rubberized grip. The addition of the retractable eraser and extra lead makes this purchase a steal.

I really like the way this mechanical pencil operates, the lead is protected by a small metal sleeve that supports the tip of the exposed lead being used, when finished using it all retracts back into the body of the pen when clicked and this action also is related with the clasp that is used to hold in your shirt pocket. I have read some reviews on this Pentel click action as to the wearing out of the push button spring wearing out or breaking do to the strong tension of the spring, (I find the strength in the spring a positive thing) However, do to these apparent experiences I do hold the button in a way that slows or softens the spring action when clicking to close the lead back into the pens body, just as a precaution. I have used this mechanical pencil this way daily and all day, clicking open and closed, no problem has revealed it's self yet. Should I wear this pencil out I have enough confidence in it thus far to purchase it again.

Love, love, love, love, love this item. I am a pen/pencil "collector". I'm constantly going through different options until I get the product I'm happy with. I absolutely love this pen. The length is good, the weight balance is good, the look is sleek. I LOVE the clip/retractor too. So much so, that I am getting them in different point sizes. Best mechanical pencil I have used in a very long time.

For years I have wondered if I should buy this pencil, and to be honest, I only decided to buy it because my favorite lead is in the pack. Now I wish I bought the pencil earlier. I love the weight and how smooth it writes, but I am very excited about the fact that I can retract the lead like a ball point pen (instead of manually pushing the lead back in the pencil). The eraser is outstanding. It erases extremely well and is fed out from the button on the top, like a mechanical pencil. The eraser does not retract back while I am erasing. I don’t have to have a firm grip while erasing anymore, as I needed with erasers that you push out with a sliding lever.All in all, I am very impressed and satisfied with this bundle!

I first bought this pencil in my first year of graduate school in 2006. Since then I have written hundreds of pages with this pencil. I love it. This is my favorite pencil. It is well built. It has a good weight distribution and I like the grip. The 0.5 mm is great for my touch. I have tried the 0.3 mm and while I find it to be of the same quality construction, my hand is a bit too heavy for it and I often break the graphite.I would guess I have bought around 12 of these pencils in the years I have used them. Most have been lost but I have had a few break. However, it is so well made that I have saved the parts from previous pencils and been able to fix others.

This mechanical pencil is like none other. It has weight!No other mechanical pencil has weight like this one.It handles like a well-made pen. It is a high-quality metal.It is worth the money.

Amazing pencil! I work as a construction inspector and do a good deal of paperwork/ drafting and calculations in my daily routine. This is very comfortable in hand and very easy to write/ draft with. I highly recommend it!

Pencil is extraordinarily durable as it is completely metal and the retractable tip is very useful. Eraser is high quality and leaves no smudges. Only problem is that it is extremely overpriced as the pencil is selling in Japan for only $9.

Totally worth it. Both pencil and eraser are totally worth the money.

The package came quick. The eraser and the pencil is amazing. There is plenty of lead to use. The pencil has a retractable tip. It feels heavy. I would recommend this product.
