You get what you pay for. These are cheap in price and the quality matches that. They are working ok for what we had intended them (holding girl's scrunchies) but I definitely would consider something sturdier if intended for a more heavy duty use. The latch on about 60% of them doesn't close well, like it's offset slightly and has to be pushed into place. The latch also lacks the spring-like mechanism (or it's broken) so it has to be manually closed.

Use these for clipping/hanging water bottle to front of my day pack during long hikes and also to keep the zippers of the pack from separating when heavy items are in it. Work good for their purpose, though the tension part that keeps the carabiner closed does eventually wear and break (that's why you get 30 of them for extras). Probably only about 3-4 have broken during the time since I've got them and was probably more from the constant unclipping them to open the zippers (and unhook the water bottles). They have never actually bent/broke from the weight of the bottles, just the clip part.

These are pretty flimsy. I got them to attach to inside of purses so that I could clip my keys in so they won't get lost at the bottom of the purses. I doubt that these carbiners would hold more than a couple of keys without popping open, let alone a heavier multi-key ring. My grandchildren enjoy playing with them tho!

By no means strong, however they are great for securing things to pad eyes on my kayak. Not to bulky to get in the way why paddling.

We used these to hold pre-printed thank you note for our Boy Scout to used during our holiday food drive. They held a tightly packed 50 on rubber bands. Held up and will be used again next year. Would buy again.

I love these things, they are well made and can be used for many applications. How can they produce these things for such a great price?

Great price but I have found they do not stand up to repeated use. Approximately 50% of these clips have broken already at the 'spring' area.

Very lightweight carabineer, which I totally expected. Colors were vibrant. However, the spring mechanism was sticky on about half of them, and also misaligned. I wouldn't purchase again. The saving grace is that this product was very inexpensive.
