The igniter lacks the shielded wires of the OEM part, otherwise it is functionally and cosmetically identical to the OEM part. I used the heat shields off the old igniter to try and protect the new igniter and so far the replacement is working fine. For how long I don't know, but I wasn't that impressed with the OEM igniter which I replaced about 4 years prior. I am on the fence 3 or 4 stars. I am giving it 4 stars for working at half the price, but will reduce it should it fail quickly.The ignitor failed in August so it lasted only about a year.

I purchased this igniter because of the great price and because the picture showed it with the heat sleeve.So beware it does NOT come as pictured which is very misleading and disappointing. My husband was able to reuse from the old one but it was NOT easy but he got it done.Note to the seller: be forth with and up front with the picture.

The igniter woked fine for me but the igniter pictured has insulation on the wires, the ingniter I received did not I used the insulation on my old inginter - I cut the plug off but if you dont it would be a proublem. The igniter is working great so far.

The item pictured on Amazon did not arrive as pictured. It was missing the wire insulating material that is pictured on the Amazon site. What I actually received is pictured here. There were other sellers on Amazon selling this exact model for cheaper but I paid more to have one with wire insulating material. It did not come as pictured so false advertising!!!!!!!!

I liked that it was a direct replacement. It worked right away when connected. It was easy easy to replace on my end with some mechanical skills I have, but may be a little difficult for some people or depending on the brand/model.

Good for the money

It fit properly on my GE Profile and works great!

Working oven again!!!
