I bought this model in error (didn’t want kitten ear head band or face tools). I was going to return it but after a few uses I didn’t want to part with it. It does smell like an indoor pool at first, add a drop of white vinegar and run it a couple of time to flush the smell out. The manual says not to add essential oils or anything to water but there is a small card insert that says you can and suggests the vinegar to flush new item smell. Steams well, and is pretty easy to use if you line the top on correctly. The alignment lines are a little off so you have to be cautious and gentle putting top on, I fear my clumsy hands will break the plastic latching system fairly quickly. The only down side is there is no water level indicator, there is a little measuring cup and you are only supposed to have 50ml water max. If you don’t use it for a full cycle and forget there is water in it, adding more may over fill it (spurts and pops hot water drops). It has some sort of reservoir so tipping it upside down to empty is tricky and may not get all water out. You kind of have to guess and air on the side of adding a small amount of water to not overfill. Has an auto shut off not sure if it’s 10 min or when water is out (have to check the directions again to confirm). All in all it’s inexpensive, looks nice and quality is ok for price. I’m sure there are better quality ones but this is perfect for first timers and it’s decent over all. Oh and it turns out the kitty ear head band is cute on, not super stretchy, fits small adult head and my 12 year olds head pretty firmly. I will keep this until it wears out or breaks. My ENT doctor suggested steaming for my allergies at night but the calming steam and results on my skin has me hooked.

I bought this 4 days ago. It arrived earlier than it said even with me choosing the free shipping that you get if you spend more than $25 (yeah I ordered another item). . anyway. . . for $20 this is the best product I have ever had/used in my life. I am always hearing about facials from my friends & seen them get them, but I do not understand the amount of money they pour into it in the end. I am a woman who likes to do things myself . . ESPECIALLY if I can get the same results as my friends without constantly going to a professional & having them do it for me. . . anyway. . . my entire life my nose has always had a black &/or white head in every single pore, but this new at home facial steamer has done the job for me. I've been using it twice a day for the past 4 days & after the 1st use I could see the difference in my nose. Every pore was unclogged & clean & perfect after using this steamer!! I couldn't believe it!! I would usually have to stand in the mirror & squish my nose repeatedly until I felt there was no more icky crap in my pores. . . with this steamer I put the maximum amount of water into it, turned it on, let it get my face warm & moist & then I took my spinning scrub brush, put some apricot scrub on the bristles & scrubbed my face & nose while having the steam hit it & the results blew my mind! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I am so glad I decided to buy my own at home steamer instead of making appointments for someone else to do something so simple!!!! You also get about 10 minutes of steam time, but I haven't had to use the full ten minutes. I usually end up dumping out a little water afterward. Either way at the end of the day I love this product so very much!!! I am 31 years old & the results I've gotten have made me feel even more beautiful & confident because my pores are no longer clogged. My face feel exceedingly fresh & clean at the end of my little personal steamer session =) IT IS THE BEST!!!

⚠️ if you have children⚠️ just be extra cautious. The body of the product gets extremely hot, and doesn’t cool down until 20 min AFTER turning it off. Would recommend locking the bathroom door until product has completely cooled down so you can put it away. (I tried putting it on a shelf, but like i said, it gets extremely hot so I couldn’t touch it myself)Other than that:Such a cute little device that adds an extra step to your skincare routine. Easy to assemble and use. A nice semi/gentle steam comes out, and it’s very enjoyable.Would recommend moisturizing your face afterwards, because it does leave your skin dry and tight. Kind of like when you take a hot shower.Also, i appreciate the tools coming in their own compact. Makes it easy to store.

This is really cute for an in-home spa day. It was a lil difficult to attach top to base, as I thought it might break with the plastic mechanisms, it gives off hot steam for about 8 mins. then you have to let it cool down before adding more water. Only distilled or filtered water can be used. Great little gift for a teen, I would just put a towel over my head over a bowl of hot water... The old-fashioned way,

This is the same exact model of the Amazon's Choice Lonove that is $15 more. I looked them up on Alibaba, they are the same. I have used this twice now, and I absolutely love it. I believe in steaming properties, but what prompted me to buy this was a bout of bronchitis and I can kill two birds with one stone ---- help clear my airways and then have this little gadget of magic to steam my face. This is super easy to use. Just DON'T fill it over the fill line and you will be fine. If you pick this unit up and move it around your face, yes, steaming hot water can spill out onto your skin, but that is NOT how this is intended to be used, so the morons posting burns on their skin were not doing what they were supposed to be doing and they got burned (pun intended). If you want to target an area on your face to get more steam, you just need to move your face around, not the actual unit. I timed one fill at about 6 1/2 minutes of steam. I wanted to do two rounds, but I would advise waiting until the unit has cooled down from one round, or pouring more water into the unit while it is still hot could cause the water to steam out onto your hand (again, not using it properly as designed). So far I am going to love using this unit. This beats putting boiling water in a bowl with a towel over my head. I will update if anything changes.

It’s not a good option, literally the hot water bubbles splashed out of it. It can burn the skin.
