This item works well as it should. I use it for cutting lead came for stained glass projects.Includes extra blades that are similar to razor utility knife blades. Great addition to my SG tools.

I renovate older mobile homes for rental and use a fair amount of plastic moldings. This tool saved me several hundred trips outside to the miter saw on a recent job. It doesn't have the precision of a miter saw, but I'm not looking for a high level of precision when the moldings may need to be replaced again after the next tenant destroys them.

The item does what it designed for and it's able to cut wood in varies angles quite easily, thanks for the built-in angle fraction selector - I tested a 45 degrees cuts of Popsicle sticks in widths of 0.6mm, 1mm and 2.4mm. The 0.6mm and 1mm widths cut quite easily - not like butter but still easily, though it required some force to cut an entire 2.4mm piece. Overall it's a nice item to have in a toolbox and for its price ($28.99 USD) it does the job. A few negative notes to take in mind from my first impression and experience below.Negative notes:I really wanted to give this item 5 stars, but I gave it only 4 as the blade should have been sharper. In my opinion, both the stock blade and the extra one that comes with it are somewhat dull. If the blade was more sharper then I suppose that cutting the 2.4mm piece would have been much easier, and the cuts overall were more precise and much nicer in look; as you can see in my image that there are little visible fractions of the wood on each cut with all Popsicle sticks widths that I tested, and it could be because of this that the cuts are not aligned accurately with each other. And honestly, I really held each piece straight in place on the fraction angle selector before and during cutting.To sum up:I suppose that sharping the blade would make this item a gem, though if one decided to go in that route it should be done carefully; if you're not experienced in sharping blades, ask someone who does to do it for you. There are quite a lot multi angle cutters from varies vendors out there but their price varies, and not all of them have a built-in angle fraction selector, where without it every cut is done only by the eye.

This model is well worth it. We went through 2 cheap ones before "splurging" on the model. Wish I would have just spent the money on this then. We have used it for over 12,000 feet of shoe mold in the last several months. Changed the blade and it's still going strong. I highly recommend this product!!

This will cut some thinks (thin dowel rods) but won't cut popsicle sticks!! Very disappointed.

The blade is not completely parallel to the base and no matter how hard you squeeze will not close completely. Therefore, they only cut partially through the molding. Also, the angles reflected on base were not accurate.

Excellent product real time saver fir trim work don’t have to keep making trips out to the big saw.

I really thought I had come across a handy little tool for my projects around the house. Let me tell ya, this thing is dull. My hands nearly had a heart attack trying to cut up simple things. Things that this thing is made for. Returned.

I waited three weeks to receive this item. It arrived without the noted extra blade and, more importantly, the safety latch that closes/secures the tool is broken. Well, it can't be latched so it's of no use. It's also very difficult to use on even the thinnest of materials so I find it hard to believe it could cut trimming.Return has not been straightforward either. Nothing about this purchase has been easy.I most definitely do not recommend this item.
