Milkman Low Fat Instant Dry Powdered Milk - 6 Quarts (20.64 Oz)

An outstanding, one-of-a-kind product which tastes as good as ready to go milk. Only 2 complaints: it does have to be mixed with room temperature water, and it does not foam (but who carries a cappuccino foamer on a camping trip?). Although cost is the only reason I wouldn't use it in place of wet milk at home, there have been several occasions when I have used it as backup at home. And if anybody else (I am baffled by the lack of competition) ever shows up pedalling low-fat dried milk, keep in mind the camping-convenient packaging: in envelopes which make up 1 quart at a time, not in a canister. BTW, a secret feature Milkman does not advertise: shelf life is 3 years. This product definitely hits the top end of 5 stars.

Works well in a bread machine. Less expensive and potentially keeps better than major flour brand made specifically for bread and comes with free shipping with Prime or orders over $35 total. Other site also charges for shipping.

I've always loved this product. It's especially helpful if you are cooking something that needs milk and are out and don't feel like running to the store right away. The taste is so much better than other powdered milks and tastes something like cream.

99% as good as the original. It is likely psychological----we miss the slightly diffferent older packets. That makes no sense. But it is delicious as always. We "camped with it in the snow" that may have altered it.

Have used it for years. Great tasting. Don't drink milk now, but need it for cooking occasionally. Milkman has a touch of cream, adds richness to what you cook.

Great tasting milk for low fat instant dry powdered! The price is pretty steep, however.

This mild is relatively expensive but has great taste. This is what I take on backpacking trips.
