A World of Variety for American Sweet-tooths
Everything arrived A-OK for me, not to discredit the folks whose packages were damaged. It's my first time having any of the candies, except Pelon Pelo Rico--I had some as a kid--, and I found the product when searching for different packages of snacks / candy from various countries. This was a good value, and I liked the candy a lot; the lollipops are all great. The strength of the chili surprised me at first (it would be so much more toned down in American candy), but it still tastes great. You acclimate to it quickly. That's what appealed to me most: there's a lot of bold flavors across spicy, sweet, salty, savory and sour, which is a world of difference from a lot of American candy. Most of my interest in foreign snacks / candy is looking for more interesting tastes (or textures) than American candy typically offers, and Mexican candy delivers in spades! It's great! The only one that hasn't entirely clicked for me is the Lucas Gusano, but I never even knew about chamoy before, so I still liked trying it. If you're looking for some variety in candy, I recommend giving it a go!

Fast delivery and great product!
Fast delivery! I live overseas and got the package within a week from ordering. The candy tastes great. It does not taste old or stale. From what I've noticed, none of the paletas (lollipops) were damaged either. Except one came out of the wrap. Also, the bag comes somewhat as advertised. I ended up with 4 of the Manitas Paletas, 4 of Rico Pepino Paletas, and 4 of the Revolcaditos. I attached a pic of all the candies. FYI, I had already eaten a few of the candies (3 to be exact) in case you count them and the number of pieces dont match what is advertised lol. Keep in mind it is assorted candy afterall, and I didn't mind the variety they provided. But in case it's important to you, not all the candy matched what is in the front of the bag (at least for me). I am very limited in Mexican products where I live; With that in mind, the price for this assorted bag was decent. I believe there were other products going for a much higher price on Amazon. There was also a Golden Ticket for free candy. I will have to register for that in the future. If anyone has already done so, it would be great to know if this holds true. Overall, I would definitely buy again from this company and recommend them!

Great goodie bag
Had a crazy craving and had to get some of these. Sadly do not have any local places that sell these so these are the next best option. Great variety (some repeats) and quantity. Definitely satisfied my craving!

Great candy, golden ticket system is a fail, customer service is a joke
The variety really was great, found some new interesting flavors too. Please note, there might be 3 pieces of non-spicy candy in this mix (not counting gum) so anyone that might be looking for an assortment with some non-spicy mexican candy too might want to try something else. Couldn't figure out how to redeem my golden ticket (after reading and following instructions that didn't work), reached out to the seller and they offered no help other than to reread the instructions lol, even after explaining that it didn't work at least 3 times. Overall a good purchase just the golden ticket business doesn't pan out, at least not for me. Edit: after about another month the seller did reach out with golden ticket redemption instructions. Waiting to see if it pans out now. Hoping so because the candy itself was really good :) Edit 2: Nevermind. Seller says they reached out with instructions on accident and even after trying to explain 3 more times about my previous situation again, I finally actually give up. Took it down from 4 stars to 3 for the complete lack of customer service or help (weird refusal to address the actual questions/issue)

A lot of misses
I've had candy from all around the world thanks to Universal Yums / Amazon and wanted to try Mexican candy. I figured it would be spicy, and tasty like other Latin American candy. (Brazil and Belize have the best) I did not research it going in, which according to the other reviews puts me at fault for not liking this candy. What you get is mostly a mix of three flavors: cane sugar, salt, and spice. Out of the entire bag I can't say I enjoyed a single item. The overwhelming amount of cane sugar used, made most of it taste the exact same. I liken it to taking a box of "Sugar in the raw" from Walmart and just pouring it in your mouth. Most of the candy tasted exactly like cane sugar with some habanero peppers put in for good measure. The spice was honestly the only redeeming factor for me. Easily the worst candy was the salty candy. While other countries put a balance of salt in their products, this one just pours it on there until it coats the whole exterior of the candy. It tasted like when I gargle salt water to help with a sore throat. A few of the items like the sour spaghetti had no flavor at all. I think the gum was the only tolerable item and it tasted just like the generic 25 cent gum I used to get from Pizza Hut as a kid. All in all, pretty disappointing. I guarantee Mexico has better candy than this.

Cool Gift, Great Experience, Worthwhile Adventure
A co-worker of mine returned from Mexico with a pack of Pulparindo's. At the time I was the only one in the office who had a taste for them. I was so excited by them that I couldn't stand the idea of not giving them another try. That's when I stumbled across Mission's Mexican Candy Assortment! I thought to myself that if I enjoyed one candy then I should go ahead and take an adventure! My parent's raised me to try everything once, so I put the mix in the candy bowl on my desk to share. Turns out that more clients than I expected had a taste for the different candies in the pack! It was a great conversation starter for me, and I've been introduced to a lot of flavors that I had -never- experienced before. A warning to American/Canadian buyers, these are not your typical Snickers bar, many of the candies have a spicy coating over the sweet exterior. Imagine a Sour Patch Kid but instead of sour on the outside it was spicy! A great way to expand your palate, and a must have for anyone who gets tired of the standard "Ketchup is too spicy" version of Midwestern foods.
