Wooden Cremation Urn for Human Ashes Adult - Handcrafted Rosewood Engraved Urn - Funeral Memorial Burial Keepsake Box for Home Niche or Columbarium (10 x 6 x 6 Inches)

Bought this for my Great Dane cremations. A tad larger than I thought but it’s beautiful.

The container itself is sturdy. The base has two small screws. The bottom did not seem very secure; I made sure I supported the bottom once filled. I kept the remains in the original plastic. I flattened the bag, removed the air and rolled it up and put it in. I thought it was fairly light when empty.

Since this is made of wood, it is likely heavier and more stable than a ceramic version. The wood in the sides is probably 1/2" thick. The only thin wood is the bottom, which is a piece of fiberboard, that is almost too soft and thin to be practical being held by two short screws. The funeral home where I plan to take the ashes for transfer asked if it included a bag, which is why I unscrewed the bottom. It has no bag inside, but the funeral home will provide one. I'll probably glue the bottom to the urn once the ashes are inside, if the funeral home doesn't secure it beyond the two screws. All in all, it is a lovely addition where wooden accents are enjoyed.

Really like the product but, did not hold all ashes from 250 person. Actually had a about 2 cups of ashes "left over". Think urn would fit 200 pound or less human remains. If your loved one was 250 lbs, buy a bigger urn.

10 years ago I was sitting in my fathers living room. He made me promise that if and when he died, I was to mix his ashes with his dog, when he died too. 4 days later my father overdosed. I took his pup and cared for him till he passed away. Tomorrow marks the 10 year anniversary that my father has been gone and thanks to this urn, and the company who made it, I was able to keep that promise today. The urn is absolutely stunning and fits my father perfectly. It was a tad bit small to hold all his ashes and his dog but what I have left will be separated to my family. I’m truly blessed to have found this product. Thank you for helping me keep my promise.

The craftsmanship is superb! The price is right! The next day delivery is on time!!! My Uncle Sonny’s remains will be kept in this beautiful urn that is truly a representative of who he is : strong, solid & dressed well. I ordered this for my husband's ashes and he didn't really fit but I knew that when I bought it (he was a big guy) it would have been nice to have some kind of instruction on how to put him into the urn. It also would be great if there was a bag or if the urn sealed, like an o-ring or something, we used a rubber band and hot glue to keep the ashes securely in

This product came earlier than promised. It's solid and is very thick. Pretty design all around. Was exactly what was described. The only issue was putting the bottom back on, has to be exactly where it was before you took off. Tip, put screws in to hold while returning the bottom on.

It's just as the photo shows, we got the solid design with carved flower trim (but no white washing). It's pretty enough that if it wasn't an urn it could go on display with our other wood art pieces. The sizing is also accurate.
