Lee Precision .457 Double Cavity Mold Ball

Great mold for my Ruger 1858 stainless replica bp revolver. Just as all of my LEE molds (about twenty), this one is great for what it is. Its aluminum instead of steel. That makes it a bit less durable but if you follow the instructions it will last for years. an advantage of the aluminum is heat control so over steel you get more good balls without the overheat problem. IF it does get too hot just give it 30 seconds n it is good to go again.

Typical solid Lee quality. Won't last as long as Lyman, but at the price I can buy 2 of them for what 1 Lyman costs and be casting balls just as long if not longer than the singular Lyman.

Works great, easy to use and clean up.
