Works but there are better options
I installed this bracket at our boat dock to hold a new 23" Life Preserver Ring which we hope seldom gets used. The bracket holds the ring (the elastic strap keeps it from falling off) but since there is nothing holding the bottom of the ring, it tends to bounce around a bit. Several of the rings that are sold on Amazon include a bracket that is made to fit the life preserver. I suggest buying that custom bracket if you are purchasing a new ring.This holder will do the job if you are looking for an inexpensive option.

My father & I had a boat with a life Ring, Well I bought a new home & wanted tohang it on a wall instead of just being outside in the garage. So I seen this and loved the way it looked.I just put some anchors in the wall and screwed it right in, looks Great!!!

Get solid piece of hardware.
I might’ve gone overboard with spiffing up my little boat. But this addition to it is a plus. Now my lifesaver hangs up, versus being trampled on. The workmanship is solid.

This life ring holder was easy to install and allowed me to place the life ring up off of the deck and out of the way, while still being accessible if needed.
