The perfect mowing hat! This hat was better than I expected. Very good quality. The color was great too. The material is breathable, but still very protective from the elements.

Bought for a lot of outdoor work and boating. Give good shade and it's flexible with being able to snap it up for more of a cowboy hat look. Head stays pretty with the vents. I like that I can just throw it in the wash. Definitely recommend.

I love this hat. nice wide brim for sun protection. Very light weight. Great color (green). Good quality. Washed it and it came out great. Love the adjustability. Fits great. My head size is just slightly over 22 inches. Only complaint is how it is packaged. It is in a bag super flat. It takes a while to shape it, as it has intense creases. I am still kind of working them out. this is why 4 stars. maybe they can roll it or something other than folding it to the extreme.

The brim of this hat is huge, but not too huge, just huge enough. It is very light weight and comfortable to wear and completely shades my face, all sides of neck and most of my shoulders. So now I only have to put sunscreen on my arms and legs and don’t have to smear sunscreen on my face and neck, which always felt unpleasant.The brim stays in place pretty well, but in a strong wing it will flip up. As such I’ll not likely wear it while out boating. But given that I don’t have a boat, that isn’t a terrible restriction for.The fabric is light and the sweat is easily washed out with a little hand fabric detergent and then dries quickly. This makes it easy to rinse and wash it after a hot sweaty day working in the yard, hang to dry and be ready to go again the next day without my head smelling like a football locker.I would definitely recommend this hat for the backyard warrior out there.

Nice, lightweight hat, with a wider than usual brim for more sun protection. Adjustable head band and chin strap. The removable top flap is a really nice feature so you can choose between rain protection and warmth or coolness and air flow. I posted a pic with the cover on and one with the cover removed.It does come folded and creased, but so does every other similar hat your order (I know because I ordered three other brands to try). The creases came out beautifully with some steaming. Should definitely not be a deal breaker.The sizing is a little inconsistent. I ordered the light gray and the khaki. The light gray was too tight for my husband's 23" noggin, but the khaki was a bit looser and fit him well. A word of caution if you have a larger head. If you have a small head, you may find the 'bucket' of the hat to be a bit loose/baggy, even if you adjust the strap to make the band fit snugly.All in all, I'd really recommend this hat if you're looking for a lightweight, crushable, quick-drying hat with good protection. Removable top flap is a big bonus feature.

I bought two of these and never regretted buying them. One each for my son and I, this past summer. They are a bit big for our heads but the drawstrings kept them on our heads.😄 We were installing 400 feet of fencing in the super hot summer sun. We completed the job safe from the sun and in fine style.

This hat is GREAT to wear in the sun or rain! It's got an extra flap to put on the top (comes already attached) to keep the rain out of the breathing fibers, then in the summer that can be taken off so your head doesn't get hot and sweaty. Love the wide brim which really keeps sun and rain off your face and glasses. Plus, it's got a chin strap to keep it on your head in the wind - would buy again with no hesitation. :)

Some people have complained that the hat comes folded into quarters. Mine didn't come that way (I ordered the gray version). It came in a simple plastic bag with the hat folded in half on the sides. I think this way, it fits and wears fine even if you don't go to any effort to iron out the wrinkles/crease (more on that in a moment). When wearing it this way (with the crease in it), it doesn't really affect how it looks and it doesn't flop down in your face. To fix any creases USE A TOWEL and iron with the steam setting on. Put the hat UNDER a towel and then use your steamy iron on top of the towel (hat is just below the towel) and this way you can pretty easily remove the creases with several passes of the iron and not ruin the hat. DO NOT put the iron directly on the hat (it's just nylon). Anyway, it fits well, has soft material that touches your forehead and it has a nice wide brim without looking really goofy (which is one of the main reasons I bought this). I wanted this as an alternative to the more expensive Outdoor Research (OR) 'Sunbriolet' sun hat. This hat is wider than the OR hat and has an overall similar design. I want this for vacations when I'll be in the sun all day and also for mowing the grass, which takes a few hours. My hats end up getting a bad sweat ring where it touches my forehead, because I get very sweaty on summer vacations and I found that I CANNOT remove the sweat stain from my OR hats, no matter what I try (I also asked OR for suggestions too and nothing helped - big dark sweat stain :(. Anyway, with these hats being only $20 or so, I won't feel bad buying another one for the next year's vacation. FYI - 3 of my photos are BEFORFE ironing it and the other 4 photos are after ironing (to remove the wrinkles).
