Proimb Vertical Stand with Cooling Fan for Playstation 4 Ps4

I think this things amazing! Its a great stand that's durable and the stand plugs into a usb port on the ps4 so it doesn't have to plug into the wall. The fans arnt that loud so if your gaming you won't even notice them. But I shut them off for things like Netflix. They suck the air from the ps4 so just put it right side up and play away!

I just received this and was aware of a possible issue with the fans once I read the reviews on here. One reviewer stated that you have to flip the fans so the air flow is correct. I opened the box and plugged it into a usb port on my PC then turned on the fans. The fans blow UPWARDS, which would be into the PS4. The stand is also like a centimeter off the surface that you place it on so there's barely ANY airflow underneath it, which means there's pretty much no cool air being blown into the PS4 to cool it. If you take it apart, flip the fans, AND place some spacers underneath it to allow more air flow, then the device will aid in extracting heat out of the PS4. It could also work by just spacing the device off the table a little more to allow cool air to go underneath and INTO the PS4 if you choose not to flip the fans. I personally do not like the idea of blowing air into the system cuz of my dusty carpets but basically you gotta put spacers underneath the device to allow more air to be sucked up or blow out (depending on if you flip the fans or not).I posted a picture of my setup. I flipped the fans and put spacers (shock bushings) underneath to allow air flow. :)Update: I bought this is March and have to report that the charging stations for the controllers no longer work. The usb ports on the front also no longer work. I have to wire my controllers to the PS4's USB port in order to charge. The fans are still running though.Not very happy about the charging ports failing. I have changed my review to reflect this.

Working perfectly, even holds up and supports my PS4 with its new NYKO data bank attachment. I can now charge both of my controllers and keep my station cool. Not to mention the sleek and stylish design makes it look "so awesome". Thank you PROIMB!!! GOOD ON YOU!!

The unit I received was not them item pictured or described. It was a variation with a rectangular base instead of triangular. And also the charging docks do not work. The reddeming factor that brings this at least up to 2 stars is that the fans work properly and the system feels secure.

I flipped the fans and added some spacers to the bottom for air flow. This seems to work well. The fans create a bit of noise, but its manageable. The issue I'm having is the USB hub continuously disconnects and connects. My USB wired head set will be sporadically working, disconnect for 30secs to a few minutes and reconnect. Same issue with the USB cable I use to charge my controller while playing. I'm worried that my controller on the stand is having the same issue, but I don't have a way to test it. Work around would be to use a separate USB hub and not use the one on this item at all.

The stand works well, but you need to make sure it is placed in an area with too much activity going on. The reason I refrained from giving it 5/5 is because the stand pocket is not deep enough for me to be fully comfortable with the stand. I have even seen a review where the man accidentally knocks over the brand new console because he was a little too careless of how he placed the ps4 in the pocket. If there was a way of locking it in, I would have given it full stars. Maybe Velcro will do the trick. The fans work well, I personally did not feel the need to alter them. The stand itself grips to the surface pretty well. I also get a pretty decent charge for the controllers. Overall I have been pretty satisfied.

I was afraid that this would look a bit tacky, but I bough it anyway for the dual fan function. A lot of people say their ps4 doesn't get hot, but I notice a significant amount of heat after playing for about an hour. I don't mean I keep track of how hot it gets every 5 minutes, but when I go to charge my controllers after playing (sessions usually last an hour or two), I can definitely feel heat emanating from the unit. It also includes 3 USB ports, so you will have a total of 4 USB slots after plugging this into your ps4. There is no power cable because this draws power from the ps4 unit itself via USB cable.

Shipping on time as expected , the product has 4 functions and it does each perfectly : allow the ps4 to stand vertically, cool the PS4 down with cooling fans, give 2 extra USB ports , and act as a charging station for 2 controllers !!! it is pretty much everything i need !! so happy with the product !!!

The product is amazing but you should know something after you brought it. The quality of the product is amazing but it was giving extra heat to my PS4. The reason for this is that the fans were blowing air into my PS4. Remember the PS4 is designed in such a way that it exhausts hot air from all 3 sides. So I reversed the fans and my Ps4 is much cooler now.

If you are looking for a vertical stand for ur ps4 then this is the best choice for you-this has 2 ports for charging-2 charging dock ports-and this fits perfectly for ur ps4

I have been using the product for a while now and all features and functionalities are as described. No issues what-so-ever. Took a while to reach me, however, it expected as product was being imported.
