Great for plotting and large enough to move to and from Compass rose

Perfect. Easy to read, nice and smooth. Used it for sailing classes and worked perfectly. Only thing I would caution buyers about be careful of the size, I like the larger size but some chart books are smaller and it doesn’t fit easily.

Good price on these. Mine have held up for over a year and no signs of warping to date. No issues with them becoming sticky, difficult to use, or the cork pads on the bottom coming off. I don't leave them in the sun, out in the heat, or on a boat which probably helps. Perfect length, great for charting.

This is definitely the product to have when performing plotting problems (I'm a celestial navigation student). I use this much more often than the navigational triangle. I like the magnification and the pre-marked lines, making it super easy, and making accurate measurements. Also, appears to be well made. If you had to make a decision to either get this or the navigational triangle get the Parallel ruler, and a cheap 90 degree triangle.

This is something you can easily learn to use. A must for boaters in a situation that you lose nav capabilities. Lays flat in your nav station desk top.

The product arrived on time. My son got this for Christmas, and won't go sailing for months, but plans to practice using this on a map that he has. He was very impressed with the quality of the product.

Great size, and quality. Has both metric and imperial measurements, which I deem essential.
