Great finish but either the slide or hook length is too short to engage / cover the joint at the watch "bow" leaving it susceptible to coming off and losing, dropping pocket watch. Will likely return if no way to seal/glurvthe "s" clamp feature. Otherwise chain looks solid.

I was looking for a simple gold-plated chain to use with my great-grandfather's pocket watch on rare occasions. This chain with the belt-clip was just what I was looking for. Looks nice with the watch and on the display stand.

For the money, wow, what a decent little chain. My son wanted to use my old gold-plated pocket-watch (from my childhood, 1970s-80s) to wear to cotillion and look stylish. I had lost the chain, and the only one I could dig up had had most the plating worn off. This chain looks great, though I've no idea how long the plating will last. For his first couple of dances this winter (2016-2017) though, it's working great so far!As inexpensive as it is, I'll buy another if it starts to wear, but so far so good. What a deal! Even came in a nice little presentation box, so my son thinks it's more valuable than it really is, and so he takes better care of it.

It's a chain for a pocket watch and it looks nice, wayyyy too much packaging.I understand that type of thing might often be gifted to someone else, in which case it looks like something that costs too much! (which fortunately it doesn't, it is very reasonably priced)I bought this for myself to replace an old vest-chain that went with my grandfather's watch. I don't even own a vest! It's wonderful to bring new life to something that has been passed down for generations and this looks the part.

For the price, this is a nice, attractive and effective chain. The finish has held up well after a few months of use. I especially like the clasp for waist band or belt. I'm taking a point off because the rings securing the chain to its clasps do not seem very strong. This is a common problem among watch chains at this price point. However, thus far it has worked well with no problems.

Appears more elegant than shown by the product picture. The clasp secures tightly to the belt. There was one occasion where the watch separated from the chain while in my pocket; possibly because I used the chain to pull it from my pocket while seated. Nothing was broken and I have not had a recurrence. I have not experienced any of the quality issues that a few have mentioned. Shipping was fast and the packaging appropriate.

Quality watch chain affordably priced. Beautiful finish in a very nice gift box.
