Bore Sight 12 Gauge Laser Boresighter Red/Green Dot Zeroing Laser Bore Sight with Extra Batteries

Solid and very well made laser was very bright could have used an on off button ,but removing batteries after a quick use wasn't an issue this tool made my task super easy.

This is a good product that performed as expected. It chambered perfectly in each of the variant shotguns that I wanted to site in with the use of various red dot or laser aim devices. Saves a lot of time, ammo, and frustration.

I am really impressed with this MidTen 12 ga Laser Bore Sighter. We mounted a scope on our Remington 870 slug gun after this last deer season and tried to sight-in the scope by simply firing slugs down range. After 2 boxes of slugs we still were a good 10 inches from center. We shifted approaches and found this bore sighter on Amazon and the price was worth a try. The construction of this bore sighter is very heavy and solid. It slid easily into the chamber just like any other shell. With the laser light beaming brightly down range we were able to adjust the scope and had it spot-on in a matter of minutes. We still need to confirm the scope alignment at the range but I'm confident it is spot-on. This was a very good purchase for basically the cost of a few boxes of shells and we have it for future use. I would definitely recommend this bore sighter.

The product is nicely made with a heavy brass and fit in my 12 gauge shotgun snugly. It does not have an on off switch and only turns on or off when you screw the head of the shell in to make it go on or screw off the head when you want it off. The shortcut for turning on and off is simply unscrew the upper fourth part, which is easy, and then tighten or loosen the threads far enough so the brass parts stay together.. This way you don't have to take the batteries out and then put in again when you want to use it. The laser only works when the batteries are tight, which of course is what you want. Keep the nice container it comes in and lay it back in the shaped foam insert that holds it. You need to know that the green laser is very good but you won't be able to see it on a distant target if it is bright out. Wait till evening nears, or a very dark cloudy day, to bore sight. A simple method is to bore sight it on an object that is at the desired distance you want it on a darker day. Then you simply adjust your gun sight to the green dot. It is right on then. Saves a lot of time and shells. It is spot on and I am very satisfied with this product. It costs a little more than many bore sighters for a shotgun but you get good quality. I am glad I have it. Only gave 4 stars due to on/off capabilities. Other than that, this product is very good

Solid with a snug fit. Made from machined brass. The laser is accurate and has good range in dim light (don't try to use it in sunlight). I repeatedly rotated it and re-seated it. The laser came back to the same spot. Used it to align my Romeo5 red dot and was pleased with the results.

I’m really happy with this bore sight. It’s as simple as it looks—drop the batteries in and it’s ready to go. I had my laser sight dialed in within minutes, and the accuracy has been perfect ever since. The laser itself is extremely bright and easy to see. The metal feels like brass, so the softness is expected. If you drop it on concrete, it’ll show a mark… learned that the hard way. Not really a complaint, just something to keep in mind. My only real wish is that it had an on/off switch instead of having to unscrew the back. Otherwise, it’s solid, it works exactly like it should, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Exactly what I needed to get my 12-gauge on paper, and almost zeroed, before I ever set foot on the range. Honestly, this bore sight could have paid for itself if I’d used it sooner. I tried zeroing an old shotgun with a scope without one and burned through way too many shells in the process. Lesson learned. The red dot is bright, easy to see, and the fit is perfect for a 12-gauge. My only minor gripe is that there’s no on/off switch. You have to insert and remove the batteries each time you use it. Not a dealbreaker, just means I pop the batteries out when I’m done and store everything back in the box. Overall, a huge time and ammo saver. Wish I’d bought it sooner.

The product heading is misleading; there are no extra batteries included. However, the product is good quality. I wish I would have spent a couple more dollars for one with an on/off switch.
