Dana 30 Axle High Steer Kit Flips Tie Rod for More Clearance at Tie Rods fits YJ TJ CJ XJ ZJ Models

There isn't a lot to this, this part did the job of flipping my tie rod to a "HIGH STEER" setup with ease. On my cj7, dana 30 I had to trim the bottom to fit it flush, used a flap wheel to make short work of it. Nearly eliminated all of my bumpsteer on my 3" lift by correcting the geometry. Highly recommend.

Worked great.

I drilled out the hole with a 3/4” step drill bit. I taped the bushing into the hole and used 6 tacks welds to weld the bushing to the steering knuckle. Be careful to not overheat and warp the bushing. Worked great!

Used to build a custom high steer for my dana 30 high pinion. Worked fantastically, later I found my tapered reamer but this was nice and easy. I went ahead and used the original castle nut with the cotter pin since it worked (barely). Maybe a different tie rod end would be too short and need to use the teflon lock nut instead.Definitely the way to go if you don't already have a tapered reamer (1/2 inch per foot), still a good option even if you do have a tapered reamer...

Great product. Cheap and easy way to get your steering away from the rocks! Used on a 2000 TJ w/4" lift and Currie steering.

False discription! Will not work with factory JK drag link due to the bend in the link. If the factory link is flipped it will damage the fromt sway bar end link! For placement on a JK you will also have to purchase an aftermarket drag link.

This is a good quality product and easy to install. This insert worked with my heavy duty Currie tie rod end with 7/8" threads.
