Finish is good. Chair, I am sure, is quite durable and is easy to clean. Two things that bug me about it:1. It's not that comfortable. Sure, you can sit down and will be fine, but relaxing isn't the word that comes to mind.2. Granted this may be personal preference, but the rocker is center-forward on its lean ... so you don't sit back in it and rock leaned back ... it wants to push you forward and that requires you to maintain backward pressure on the floor with your legs, which additionally takes away comfort. It would be better if the center of gravity were adjusted to the back about six inches.

Love it! Great looking & sturdy getting tons of compliments

I have been looking for an outdoor rocking chair for several years. I saw the great reviews on this and decided to buy one to try it out. I just received it and finished putting it together. First of all, it is very heavy. I have to go up a flight of steps to get to my deck. I had to take it apart downstairs and bring it up a piece at a time. I had a little bit of a hard time putting it together. Don't even try with the stinking little tool that they give you. Use a power tool. After I got my drill and the proper bit, it went together fairly easily. As others have said, don't tighten everything until you're finished. There are rough spots here and there on the finish and some of the places look as if some of the finish has scraped off. There is not a chance I will return it because of the weight. It's a nice enough chair and it will suit my needs. Sits up up a little straighter than I would like. Update: I’ve had this chair for two years now and it still looks brand new. It’s been outside for two Northeast winters and has held up amazingly well. My only real complaint is that it isn’t very comfortable.

This is a solid and comfortable chair! The black is really nice looking. It’s heavy and well built. I easily put it together in 20 minutes. It’s really really comfortable. I loved it so much I ordered another one.

These chairs are awesome! Easy to assemble and sturdy. The recycled material seems like it will hold up well against the outdoor elements. The seat sits a bit lower than our old wooden rockers and is somewhat wider making the rockers very comfortable. We were very pleased with this purchase! Shari W.

My husband is a big guy, 350 pounds, and the rocker works really well for him. We ordered the toffee color, and is very attractive. Thanks to all the reviewers who said do not tighten anything completely until you've finished so make sure the holes line up, that helped me a lot. If everything is lined up and the bolt is going straight into the hardware, it should easily hand tighten. If it's a bit off, don't force it, tweak the holes a bit and the bolt should easily hand tighten. Once you have all the bolts in, then go ahead and tighten it up with the Allen tool.

FAIRLY easy to assemble. Bought for our balcony. So comfy, I'm trying to decide whether these should be on the patio, because we spend more time there. I may have to move around all our outdoor furniture to include them.Our wonderful friend just turned 70 and I wanted to see if she liked . . . YES! So, ordered 2 more Charleston Green for Maria and her husband, Jose. A nice gift for people you love.

We wanted to love these chairs so badly!! They are really beautiful looking but have a very poor design. We purchased two chairs, one of which came with no hardware and no instructions. We called the manufacturer and they were awesome! We received the hardware the following day (only one state away). One of the chairs holes do not align properly at all so we put that one to the side and were able to easily put the other chair together.I am 5’8 and my husband is 5’9 and we have to sit with our tush to the edge to rock comfortably. If sitting upright, it feels like you’re about to take a nose dive off the chair. It has a forward feeling rock and your whole body is leaned forward instead of to the back. I read this on some reviews but thought just give it a shot because maybe they have been fixed since. Oh no lol, it has not and it’s terrible. The back of the chair is also very uncomfortable.We are very disappointed to have to send these back. Do yourself a favor and refrain from purchasing these and dealing with the hassle of a return.Hoping to find something as beautiful with comfort!
