Love this book and CD! Nice arrangements of classics! The CD includes a vocal performance and the backtrack alone which ithink is a great tool for students learning to sing jazz.

This song book is awesome. I love the song selection and the fact that it comes with a demonstration and accompaniment tracks. It is great if you don't have your own accompanist. The only problem I found is that I am a soprano and all the key signatures are very low-still singable, but not in my most comforatble range. This book would be great for altos!!

The CD application to change tempo or pitch won't work in MAC OS X , maybe it worked in previous systems but not any longer. I am disappointed because some of the tracks are very slow and I would like to speed the tempo a bit.

Good songs ... both demo and blank accompaniments AND the sheet music for each ... for me the keys were perfect. This is especially wonderful because I there isn't much out there to choose from. My singing teacher liked it so much, he purchased it also to use with other students.

These are sub-par piano arrangements for vocalists. Every vocal line is doubled in the piano, which will result in one of three things: 1) being slightly off from one another if either pianist or vocalist strays from the rhythm of the vocal line, 2) sounding too "straight" for the genre if you stay in tempo, or 3) extra work on the accompanist's part to come up with something that sounds halfway decent.There's zero reason to double a vocal line in a decent arrangement, especially in jazz. That said, the piano arrangements stand well on their own. Glad I found a use for this collection!

The accompaniment does not always match the sheet music! Super frustrating. Good selection of songs, though.

This is wonderful for me as my voice tends to fall in lower range and I found several books here that I use with my singing teacher that were well worth the money because they work for me.

I ordered this as a singer who's new to Jazz singing and it's perfect for me. The arrangements are suited to a lower female voice and I really enjoyed the selection of songs; they're all accessible and well known. There's nothing really impossible to sing - but some will certainly require plenty of practice! The voice of the performer on the song Demos is very lovely and she is easy to follow. I recommend this to others like me, who want a good introduction to jazz but not too much of really tricky scatting,

Great book, nice range of songs with accompanying CDs and examples of them being sung. Only 4 starts as no indication of vocal range as far as I could see in the product description. When received, all the songs are quite low (probably suit an alto) so not really suitable for me, but other than that a good book

Good range of jazz standards for female voice. It's good to have the sheet music as well as backing tracks on CD.

Nice selection and useful to have the CD backing tracks for when a pianist isn't available
