Have two larger setters that shed and I have hard floors. These are fantastic for my situation. Works really well and smells pleasant to. It is amazing how much hair just one cloth can pick up. We have 3 dogs in the house. I use these pads every morning. They pick up the hair in 2 rooms. After that hair starts to come off the pad. They work much better than a broom and I would hate to drag out the vacuum every day
