I narrowed my search down to 3 possible. This was actually the most expensive but I felt I was getting more for my money in the way it was advertised.Having looked at some other reviews I will add what I think of the product.The Mat comes with a simple yet effective carry system. I don't really need much more.The Mat when rolled turns a little at the ends but it does not fold into itself, so this is not a problem.The Mat in my opinion offers enough cushioning for hard floors. The problem with a thicker Mat is you may not get the stability.The Mat does not slide on my Laminate flooring but at the same time it does not stick like glue. Give it a kick and you can move it along.The Mat is a good length, but it possible I would have enjoyed something little wider so I can turn easily. It seems most Mats are similar width and length. I like that it covers my whole 2metre height.I like the fact the Mat allows me to wear socks and they do not slip.I like the different colour choices of the Mat.I like the fact you can store the Mat easily. Perhaps under a bed, or behind a sofa.This is a good choice. Not the cheapest but otherwise a good choice for the money. Its certainly not something I will need to change in 1 year or 2 years, its a one off payment.I don't have other Mats to compare only those I have used at the gym, but this is much better quality.

When you first receive the yoga mat it is packaged really well and has a strap so you can carry it around with you. You can see the yoga mat is lightweight when you carry it around which is perfect for when you’re transporting the yoga mat and when you lay it out it is also really thick which adds lots of comfort. The bottom half is also gripped so the mat doesn’t slip which is brilliant for yoga, making it very stable. The yoga mat also comes with a cloth and cleaning instructions which means it’s always hygienic and ready to use. I have done lots of different exercises on this mat, and applied force, and the yoga mat still looks brand new and hasn’t thinned at all, maintaining it’s shape. When you use the yoga mat it is also really comfortable which reduces the likelihood of pain during exercise. Overall, I would recommend this yoga mat and it is comfortable, well packaged and great value for money.

This mat is very comfortable and long/large enough for any yoga pose. It comes with a very handy strap which makes storage easy and space-efficient. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it has a very pungent smell (which hopefully will fade with time) and, even though it is very grippy, I can still feel my hands slip a tiny tiny bit.UPDATE: I have been using this mat for a couple of months now. I can't practice without putting a towel on the mat because every time I go into downward facing dog my hands slip. It's a relatively cheap mat so I guess this is the best you can get in this price range but I think it's good to be aware of this issue before buying.

I purchased two of these during lockdown as gifts for my mother and sister who were trying to keep fit at home following exercise videos online. They loved them! They are a great quality mat for a great price and they came with straps to roll them up for easy storing. The mat is very soft and helps protect your body from hard/solid floors when doing exercises at home!

a great mat with multiple uses . I brought it mainly for the gym and yoga but have since used it indoors and outdoors in summer months for my children to play on in the garden.its lasted over 2 years and still looks as good as new washes really well too when it gets muddy or sweaty

I’ve been looking to get a new yoga mat for a while as my current workout mat isn’t really suitable for Yoga/Pilates type exercise as it’s too thick and spongy and can be a little slippy. I have been putting off buying one as it’s a bit of a minefield and some are really expensive and still get some poor reviews. This one popped up on my Amazon suggestions and I liked the look of it; I read some great reviews and so bought one. I’m really pleased that I did. It’s nice and grippy, reversible with slightly different grip pattern on each side, lightweight, rolls out nicely and feels high quality. Obviously I can’t yet comment on durability. As it’s slightly thinner than my other exercise mat (which I will still use for strength training exercises) I also bought some yoga knee pads and now my set up is perfect. I would add that the thickness is great for me for Yoga and Pilates as I find balance is much easier than on a thicker spongy type mat. Highly recommend this mat.

I’m very much an entry level kind of guy when it comes to this sort of thing, but this was more than good enough for what I need.Good quality, comfortable, and perfect for a bit of yoga or a floor based work out.I saw some other reviews mention about a curl at the end, and it does slightly, but not to any real detriment in my opinion and I imagine a slight curl at the end is caused by it spending a lot of time rolled up!It is longer than I expected, but that’s not really an issue.If you’re hardcore then this might not meet your needs, but for an occasional/casual user this is ideal.

I've been using the mat for about 20 sessions of hot yoga now and would say it does an all round good job for the price, if the mat would have been a more expensive one I may have thought about giving it 3 stars.Some mats may offer better grip, but probably not the level of comfort and may be a lot more expensivePro: All round good mat, offers decent comfort, lightweight and offers decent grip and comfort under hand and foot. I do sweat a little during yoga but still manage OK with grip on this mat.Con: Creases and marks very easily, in fact after one use the mat looked much older than it was. Take care when rolling this up as the slightest fold leaves a crease mark.The free mini towel is quite handy for a quick hand wipe during a session.

So I was excited to use this because my gym got rid of the mats so when it arrived and I opened the box it REEKED like if someone put fart spray in it. I tried to air it out for 5 minutes and I had to put it in the trunk of my car because even after spraying bath and body works room spray my room still stunk. If you can find a way to get rid of the smell then it will serve its purpose. I will be returning only because of the smell.

I bought this mat specifically to bring to the gym. I need extra thick padding for my joints, so I was using two gym mats. This replaces the top mat so I'm not lying on someone else's sweat. I chose a thinner mat with a strap so it would be easy to transport. I was pleasantly surprised that its dense properties affords much more cushioning than I expected from a 1/4 inch mat. I also like the included strap. I've only used once. As long as the mat holds up to my gym workouts, its a 5 star find.

I would give it 5 stars for grippy-ness (I sweat and slide a lot on mats. This one does great!) but it’s been a couple months I’ve had it and it still smells so gross since the day it arrived. I don’t know what to do about the smell….

This is a sturdy mat. It does not slip which was a problem with my last mat. It is firm and it got me back to doing some yoga and abdomen exercies every day. My last mat was slippery (dangerous) and too squishy. I Love this mat!

Highly recommend. Light weight, portable and very durable.
