Fantastic. Looked everywhere for a WHITE slim 4slice toaster. This is PERFECT. And so far works perfectly. I have had it for one month with regular use. Really pleased with this product and would strongly recommend it.

I wasn't sure whether this toaster would be particularly good quality as it was such a reasonable price, but I'm happy to say it appears to work brilliantly, is simple to operate, and looks very smart on my worktop. The bread toasts very quickly and you have a choice of how dark you wanted it to be toasted. My only criticism, for which I've knocked off one star, is that it isn't quite tall enough to take two standard slices of bread side by side in the same section; the tops of the slices stick out of the toaster by about half an inch. This is cured by putting the bread in on its side so that it toasts fully, but there is only room to put one slice in each of the two sections, so if you want to toast four slices, it has to be used twice. But it does the job very quickly, so this isn't really a problem. Otherwise, an excellent unit.

I would advise you not to buy this toaster, simply because it is not fit for purpose, and consequently I feel it is potentially hazardous due to its unpredictable ability to toast consistently. It can undercook or burn toast on the lowest setting, the 1st,2nd, 3rd slice are all different and toasted inconsistently. I have attached photos of toast at setting 1, you can clearly see that the element is getting hotter with each slice made, regardless of the low setting. The highest setting will incinerate your toast to the point where your smoke alarm will be triggered. I purchased this for a family member to use but unfortunately they didn’t tell me before I could return it to Amazon. I tried to contact Quest without any success. I’d advise you to save yourself the hassle and money, and buy a toaster from a known uk brand or from somewhere where you have a chance of them actually upholding the warranty.

A lovely toaster. Nice wide slots for my big sourdough slices. However as soon as the toast popped up, all the sockets in the kitchen 'tripped'. The plug is a sealed unit but my husband checked the fuse which was 10amp. Our old toaster - and most toasters - had a 13amp fuse so he changed the 10 to a 13. No further problems.

Can't fault this toaster at the moment, only had it for a week though, but it does everything I expected it to do...toast! It's very hot, but with the dial you can change the setting. I like the long slots for sourdough bread it's perfect.
