Please read. This is a real review....My husband wrote this so it is from him.This case is outstanding. I've had Lifeproof cases, Griffen cases, and Otterbox Cases. I've also tried the new Pelican case (I kayak and have my phone on a RAM mount on my adventure motorcycle, so my cases get used and abused). I ended up trying this one out. I liked the look and it is waterproof, so that was all a plus...then this happened (true story). I was riding my motorcycle down a mountain road going just above 50mph when my RAM X Mount decided to let my phone go. It went flying off my motorcycle over my right shoulder. It hit the concrete (at 50mph) and bounced end over end off into the weeds and blackberry bushes. It took me about 20 minutes to find it. When I did, I expected it to be shattered. Not only was the phone ok, but the case wasn't even badly damaged. Two corners of the case were scuffed up quite a bit, as were some of the sides, but no screen scratches, and my iPhone 6 plus was unharmed! I'm still amazed at this. I would've expected any case to fail under the circumstances. With that said, I'm not too happy that my RAM mount let the phone go, but this case is worth every penny. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I paid full price for it and will end up buying another one. I doubt the company will warranty it after what I put it through :) I waited 2 weeks from the motorcycle incident to write this review just in case my iPhone started malfunctioning. It hasn't, so the case did what it was supposed to do. It protected my phone.

I, like many other people, got tired of waiting for a LifeProof case to be released for the IPhone 6+. LifeProof was saying November 2014 release for their case and here we are in February 2015. I have seen a few cases that say were waterproof on many other sites and in a few stores. None of them had the quality I was looking for in a case. I work in a kitchen so there are many ways my phone could get wet while staying in my pocket.This case fits great and is thin and compact while feeling like the phone is protected. Every function works, even the touch sensor that was not working correctly in my water "resistant" case. I really see NO issue with this case. Even the screen protector is so snug you don't really know its even there. Great case and worth the cost if you were going to get a LifeProof.

The case is great because its slim and stylish! The home button, not so great. It stretched out so theres a bubble over it so my touch id doesn't work even though I added the same finger 3 times. It really protects from drops and protects the screen. It is not waterproof but definitely splashproof and if I were to drop it in water and IMMEDIATELY remove it, it would be safe. But I get dust and dog hair inside it all the time, so Im pretty sure water could get in. Plus I tested it in the bathtub and after half an hour the paper towel inside was slightly moist. It is really easy to get the case on and off when I have to clean the inside, so I am pleased by that, but thats probably the problem. Fortunately I only want the drop protection because the phone is so big, I drop it all the time.

looks good, and works well.-Passed a 10 minute submersion test flawlessly-Screen sensitivity is good and it doesnt reduce quality unless you put greasy fingers all over it-Touch ID works great still-Speakerphone is about 75% quality and volume (better than most waterproof cases by far)-Call quality is about 95% and microphone is 100%-All the buttons work great-The mute switch is tricky just like any other rugged case but it does work. Never use it anyway.-I won't be drop testing but it seems solid

I bought this case on the strength of a recommendation from a review site I trust, and have had the case for several weeks. The review site stated that the Seidio OBEX withstood better than another case the torsion to which larger phones are subject.Following a watertight test using paper inside to check for leaks, I put my phone in the case and have used it casually in water. I have not deliberately tried to flex the case with the phone inside, nor have I submerged the phone beyond a foot. Watertight integrity maintained to date. Also no damage from accidental drop onto pavement from about 3 feet.Positives:1. The case is huge, but appears well-designed and well-constructed.2. Camera (daylight, no flash), screen, microphone, speaker, and buttons all function well.3. A pleasant surprise is that this case feels secure in my hand, and I feel much better about my ability to retain a grip on my phone than I have in the past with a smaller case, a smoother case, or no case.4. The case also has no-slip rubber on a number of edges, including the ones that would keep a phone from sliding along a tabletop with screen facing up.5. The screen protector is able reasonably to be cleared of fingerprint oils.6. Gel adhesive of Spigen Style Ring adheres extremely securely to case back.Gripes:1. It may not be possible to fit your standard 1/8" headphones, so Seidio includes a short, flexible adaptor. It works; it's just inconvenient.2. The thin plastic screen protector doesn't feel as nice as glass, and often is not so precise. I'd rather have plastic anyway, as plastic is lightweight, thin, and will never shatter, and the occasional lack of responsiveness is acceptable given the case's function, but I find myself often annoyed as this is now my everyday case. This was more of an issue with my first case -- the replacement cases have exhibited better screen control precision (I'm on my third case, which is not Seidio's fault -- see below).3. On the first day of use, some carpet fibers became embedded into the soft plastic of the screen protector and absolutely would not be wiped, washed, scratched, or picked away.4. An unobtrusive way to attach a lanyard might have been nice.Update:I thought my case's audio was defective and went through a lengthy and frustrating process of multiple replacements. I was completely wrong; the problem turned out to be with my phone. I apologize to Seidio, and am updating what was a negative review of its service and quality control.Seidio immediately agreed to replace my defective item if I would return it first. I said that I should not have to walk around with an unprotected phone or buy a temporary case during the time it took to replace a defective item. After some haggling back and forth via email with attentive customer service, Seidio promptly shipped me a replacement in advance of my return, and I paid return shipping.If Seidio were able to integrate a lanyard anchor and engineer a workaround for the audio adaptor, this case would be pretty much perfect.
