Takes Practice!
Well, this product certainly makes me laugh. If you could see me running around the house chasing flies with this tennis paddle you would laugh too.I ordered this because I didn’t want my dogs to be frightened of the slapping sound of a traditional flyswatter. But now they are a little bit afraid seeing mama run around swiping at the air with a tennis racket. It’s not as easy as you would think, because the flies see you coming and they fly away so you are trying to catch them and swipe at them just right. My flies are usually sitting on the window, so I have to shush them off the window, then try to catch them in the air. It’s pretty comical. When you do finally get one they sizzle, and you can smell them burning, so it’s a little bit gross, but a little bit satisfying too.I hope I get better at it. I was never a great baseball player or tennis player because I don’t have great hand eye coordination, but this effort should definitely help me in that department. If you’re not too busy, and you have time to chase the flies around your house, this could be a good option.

Works pretty well. But...
This thing works like it should. However I highly recommend the upgrade I did to mine. Ditch the AA batteries and put in an 18650 lithium cell. The 18650 unleashes this things true form. Sounds like firecrackers going through bugs. To the manufacturer you guys should make this come with an 18650 and a built in charger. Additionally you guys should add a black light so bugs want to fly right into it. Also a lock on switch. Possibly even a base with extra battery power that also plugs in but can go cordless. Make the end of the handle slot into the base so I can set it on a picnic table locked in the on position. The base can power and charge the thing till its needed to use in hand.

One Great Way to Kill Small Insects
Some reason, Fort Worth TX has been inundated with small brown moths and I had to do something to kill the little bas_____! So, I was determined to purchase an old fashioned fly swatter on Amazon.com. While looking I found this Zapper.I put it in my ‘Cart’ but hesitated about actually making the purchase. But I had to do something. So I said ‘Yes’ and ordered and it arrived the next day. What can I say but this ‘Bug Zapper Racquet is great. If any insect flies around my head, I say to it to say its final prayers because if it meets the Racquet it will die instantly. It’s fairly lightweight, easy to use but pressing a button on the handle and works equally as well for right handlers as for lefties. The only bug it doesn’t kill easily is small gnats—unless the Zapper’s strings hit the gnat exactly on target. Otherwise, the gnat will simply fly right through the Zapper’s killer wires that carry the electric pulse.By the way, I will warn you to not touch the wires with the button depressed as you will get a very nasty shock. No it won’t hurt you but you will learn that it is working;.It is just fun to play with and by ‘play with’ I mean it fun chasing small flying insects as they meet their doom.

Stuns more than kills
I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now and although it is exciting when you seat a fly and see a huge spark. The fly does go down and is more stunned. You’ve still gotta go and kill the thing. I’ve even had flys get back their consciousness and start buzzing again. Cool product, but I wish they’d just kill ‘em right away.

Good exercise for your wrist.
The only reason I bought this "fly swatter" was because Lowe's was out of the regular $2 dollar fly swatters. Trying to use this to kill flies is like playing tennis with a ping pong ball. You can't use it like a regular swatter or you'd end up breaking it. You really have to be fast to swat a fly and with this contraption you can't be fast enough. I've had it for a few weeks and only once have I heard the BUZZ of a direct hit but I couldn't find his body. I did find a dead fly on the bathroom floor the next morning so maybe I gave him a bit of a shock but who know? Flies don't have a long lifespan to begin with. You would probably have more success with a real old fashioned fly swatter than this electrified version. But, it is fun trying to outwit a fly. Good luck.

Zapping flies just got a lot more fun
I own a horse farm and flies are always a problem on the property and in the stalls during the summer months. Just a constant pain. Well there I was binging Star Wars when thought hit me, "I wish I could just zap those flies with a lightsaber. Bet it would be fun and get the job done. Wait a second, I have an idea!" Got on the ol Amazon app and purchased this zapper racket. Let me tell you what, the feeling of hitting those flies, hearing the *pop*, and seeing the quick flash of the shock as it destroys the flies is one of the most satisfying experiences. And when you get several of them in a single swing and just hear *pop pop pop* simply amazing. Am I even putting a dent in the crazy fly population around the barns? No, but its the closest I'll get to having a lightsaber and mowing down my enemies and most importantly, it's fun. Just wish it had a wrist strap like a wiimote...

Rombos grandes, separador alto
El plástico separador es alto y los rombos son muy grandes... bien se puede agarrar una mosca pero no le hace nada...

One Swat Killer
I recently purchased the Mafiti Electric Fly Swatter Fly Killer Bug Zapper Racket, and I'm thrilled with the results! Here's my five-star review:LIKES:Super easy to use - the zapper racket is simple and intuitive, making it a breeze to operate.Effective - within seconds of turning it on, I was zapping away pesky bugs in my home.Portable - the zapper is lightweight and easily portable, so I can take it with me wherever I go.Safe - the zapper is designed to be used safely around children and pets, with no risk of accidental electric shock.DISLIKES:Price - while the zapper offers great value for money, the price may be a bit too high for some people's budgets.Overall, I would highly recommend the Mafiti Electric Fly Swatter Fly Killer Bug Zapper Racket to anyone looking for an effective, easy-to-use bug zapper. It has helped make my home free of pesky bugs, and I love the added peace of mind that comes with knowing that it is safe to use around children and pets.

It's not a feature but a bug
The idea of not accidentally shocking anybody is a good thought but the design is flawed that it defeats the purpose of why this product exists. With a layer of non electric mesh around the single internal electric mesh with single size opening that only allows certain size flies to be killed makes it less useful and frustrating to use. Too small or big to the outer and inner mesh no contact on the insects, it's a free pass. There is no way you can kills a bug or a fly that sits on a counter top by covering it with the bat, the fly will start navigating the non electric mesh maze without getting electrocuted.I am frustrated with this product and don't understand so many positive reviews that I relied on, should have focused on negative reviews.I wish to return this frustrating piece of design work that not only doesn't shock people and pets but also certain sizes insects that are smaller or bigger.

Not really a great buy for what it says on the box
It works, sort of, for mosquitos, less so for very small flies, and not at all for large flies. The batteries wore down quickly and the satisfying zap sound goes away too.The handle and frame feel very weak, and cleaning dead bugs out by gentle taps of the frame on your wrist is the best and quickest way to clean. But it feels flimsy. You might have a different experience, but I would not purchase any brand of this type of device again. Just use a fly swatter.
