Incredibly DURABLE, COMFORTABLE Mouse Pad
This is one Hell of a product from Belkin! I speak from experience because I just equipped my entire studio with these Gel Mouse Pads, that would be pads for two PC laptops with extended desktops, a MacBook Pro laptop (my wife's), my 24" 3Ghz iMac that is used almost exclusively for batch editing of photos, and my PC desktop that I am working on right now. So that makes 4 of them in service as of this week, with the one for my PC desktop being the original one I bought more than 2 years ago, and it's in perfect shape after constant use for all that time, a testament to the product's longevity, resilience, and ability to stay shaped properly for a long, long time! I don't know about the review of May 9 here at Amazon.com that boldly states that "Belkin cheapened the product, changed it in fact" etc etc, blatantly speaking to the quality and condition of the product the reviewer purchased at that time...in fact I will dispute that claim 100% right here and now because the products that I bought this week from Amazon.com are IDENTICAL to the product that I bought 2+ years ago, they have not cheapened anything at all, in fact I would say the OPPOSITE of that reviewer, as it is my contention that Belkin is making the product better than it ever has been made up to this time, perhaps even improving its construction and feature set since 2007 when I bought my 1st one. I just don't understand how/why people blatantly, boldly write things like that which are categorically FALSE and MISLEADING to the buying public, the market here at Amazon.com which is worldwide, huge, with readers from all walks of life throughout the world...in fact it sort of shocks and saddens me when I have to contend that what somebody wrote is NOT THE TRUTH AT ALL about a product, and I am in fact doing that right here and now! Do NOT BELIEVE that review, not a word of it! This fantastic gel mouse pad from Belkin is a wonderful, perfectly constructed, made product that remains the sole product of its type that one can purchase for LESS THAN $10 here (retail being $15 or so) at Amazon.com, and I wholeheartedly give it Wavey Davey's 5-Star Vote of Confidence Award, so do not be afraid of it in the least! You can buy it here knowing full well and good that the product is incredibly well made, will last many years even in severe and constant service/use, and I am writing this right now to tell anybody in the market for such an item that THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY! I don't know where or what shape my wrist would be in without having mine in my studio to support it properly, but it surely would be in worse shape than it is right now! This thing works, and works 100% to the good for your wrist and hand's health and longevity, and it's quite simply the best thing that is available for wrist/hand support when you are toiling long, and hard at computing for pleasure or work, whatever, you know? It just works, and works WELL! FANTASTC in fact! Do not believe any claims to the contrary about how it's being made and constructed because this is the one that you should be getting if you are concerned about something lasting a long time and providing long-term use without any issues at all: this is IT folks, so believe me when I write this little review that you don't have to worry about it in the least, it's a solidly made product, with lasting attributes that will work just as good next year, and the year after, perhaps, no matter how many hours a day you use it! There, I've written what I wanted to write about it, so there's no use in making this longer or more candid than I have this time around, you just take it from Wavey Davey, your faithful Amazon.com reviewer of this great gel mouse pad, that things are on the up and up with it, it's the best thing you could possibly do for your wrist and hand, so go ahead and punch the button, hit the spot, and order it because you will NOT be disappointed, not in the least!! Best mousepad I've ever used!
I've been using versions of this mousepad for over ten years now and at this point I'll never use any other one again. I've tried numerous other mousepads with wrist rests over the years but they all have some problem or another (shape that doesn't work as well, uncomfortable or too short wrist rest, wrist rest that feels weird and crunchy, etc). Not this one. It's comfortable even after years of constant daily use, shapes to your wrist gradually over time but doesn't lose support, and is gel and not whatever the crunchy stuff is that other mousepads use. I ended up buying another of these for the office as well several years ago. No issues with slipping or any damage to the mousepad even after years of heavy use. It's amazing how well this thing holds up. The smoothness of the surface eventually starts to get worn after long term use, but it's still perfectly usable and causes no functional problems at all.

Wears out pretty fast but has been pretty comfy
Purchased this back in March 2021 when I needed something to support my wrist as I had tendonitis throughout my right arm from typing and gaming. Was pretty great, helped offer support and I use my PC a lot since I work from home and do contract work on the side. That said, keep in mind it's smaller than you think so you may have to set your mouse on its fastest setting to play FPS games (I myself just went without the pad since it snagged a lot due to being smaller than you'd think). It also only lasted about 3 years before it completely wore down. For $10, that's not so bad. I use an MX510 and M705 so it can be annoying when gaming or working. Overall, I was satisfied for the price. Wish it lasted longer tho.

This is a good, quality, simple mouse pad with a comfortable wrist rest.
I am replacing my previous mouse pad also a Belkin one same style: black with gel wrist rest. I have had it for over 10 years and the only reason why I replaced it was because they get dirty and nasty and are really hard to clean without ruining it. So I finally decided to just replace it with the same thing. I think I've had it and used it long enough. Under normal use, in a clean office environment this mouse pad will last for a long time. I have not had any other mouse pad. From top to bottom it's about 10 inches and the width at the widest which is at the top is about 8 inches. It fits on the side of my keyboard on my slide out keyboard shelf. Some users comment on the smell. It smells like rubber. It is not that strong at all. When you first take it out of the package it smells strong, and I'm sure if you take it and wave it around the air you will smell it. With it just sitting on your desk it does not smell at all after the first day. It also does not harm my desk surface or leave any marks. It is desk friendly! (It sure better be) I've also smelled my wrist and my wrist had a smell on it the first couple of days. (Think... when you buy new sneakers and your feet smell like new sneaker smell?) After that no smell, it's fine. The wrist rest is not as soft as lets say a keyboard wrist rest (which I also have, and also reviewed, and is also a Belkin). It is not too firm either where it will hurt your wrist. I imagine over time it will soften up a little. It is very comfortable to me. I also like the new logo. The previous Belkin mouse pad I had was a white Belkin logo (which is the one pictured). On the newer versions the logo is more of a contrast dark gray which isn't as visible, but visible enough where you notice it is there and the white no longer catches my eye. This is a good, quality, simple mouse pad with a comfortable wrist rest. If you are a gamer, I would not recommend this. You should get the gaming mouse pads as they are a smoother surface. Also if you are a gamer you would probably have a gaming mouse and keyboard, which I do not. I also thought my mouse was slower when I first starting using the new mouse pad. I have not touched any settings and it seems just the same now. So maybe it was just a trick of the mind. I'm happy, hopefully you are too!!

It's often forgotten that the mat you use for mousing is probably one of the most important cheap peripherals you can buy, if you spend, like me, several hours a day with your right (or left) hand resting on a hard surface. Pros: I've had several gel wrist-support mousemats over the years, but this is undoubtedly the best. Somebody has clearly sat down & actually thought about how people use mousemats in reality, & designed this thing appropriately. The gel wrist support is about 7 inches wide & contoured so that one's wrist falls naturally into the contoured hollow in the middle yet can still move around left to right without falling off the rest. The gel is not too hard yet not too soft, & infinitely better than the memory foam wrist rest my last mousemat had. The upper area of the mat splays out towards the top of its 7 inch length, to a width of 8 inches, so extravagant left/right movements of the mouse don't result in the mouse falling off, as can be seen from the image. The base surface sticks like glue to one's IKEA desk, also, so it doesn't move about. At all. A supremely well designed & comfortable mat/wrist support. I love it. I've also tried it in gaming scenarios, & the wide top bit definitely helps in some of the more frenetic gaming action. It also looks very nice, & the surface is silky smooth & my new Logitech 510 mouse likes it too. Con: well, the packaging. It's blister-packed in one of those impenetrable hard plastic packs you have to take a chainsaw to, to actually get to the product inside, but I guess I can live with that.

Also, ich bin sehr zufrieden =) daher 5 Sterne... Meine Hand war beim Computer-Arbeiten noch nie so entspannt. PS: Jetzt kann ich meine alten Handschienen zum Ruhigstellen bei Sehnenscheiden-Entzündungen wegräumen *freu*

I have quite painful arthritis in my fingers, neck and back. To use a conventional keyboard without this support was uncomfortable in the extreme. I have recently had my leg amputated and am spending vast amounts of time on the computer. This aid is wonderful; I don't get the aches and pains I used to suffer from periods on the keyboard. I would recommend this for anyone whether arthritis sufferers or not.
