Beck/Arnley Ball Joint - 101-5477

I purchased 2 ball joints and links and both control arms as well, due to the amazing reputation of this brand that I even use at my job. I was extremely disappointed when it came time to press in the ball joints and they did not fit at all, you could spin the ball joint around in the knuckle. Part numbers were correct but stamped numbers on the joint we’re not. No idea if that’s a part code or something. Went to autozone and purchased some lesser quality duralast ball joints because of this whole issue and of course the 2 different brands I bought for verification of fitment (duralast and valuecraft) fit nice and tight and the superior B&A did not. I hope this was just a one time problem because this might mean I will need to replace the ball joints sooner because these parts failed me and left my fiancés car stuck in limbo

This item was exactly what I was looking for. These are permantly sealed so no grease fitting to deal with. The installation was easy (I used a barrowed press) this Ball Joint has splines on the press end with to me is a better option when press fitting. I do recommend this item to anyone interested in quality and value.

I compared these with the stock ones I took out of my 04 civic and they are just as beefy. The extra clip that comes with them isn't necessary but it is added security. I didn't have to add an extra washer or anything for the castle nut to reach the hole in the threads like another reviewer mentioned, mine lined up without issue. I used a little WD-40 and a 600 ft lb impact to seat these without any problems.

These Beck Arnley ball joints fit perfectly on my 05 Honda Civic EX. If you have a 05 Honda civic I know amamzon's will say they are not compatible. Trust me they are! I asked the question and was quickly answered by the manufacturer. Ordered them and installed them without a problem. My steering is back to normal

these civics eat balljoints up these are ok nobody makes one that solves the problem

Used a set of these Beck Arnley 101-5477 ball joints in a 2001 Honda Civic EX. Installed easily using a ball joint removal/installation kit (free rental at local auto parts store) and a cordless impact wrench. These appear to be quality units and fit perfectly. OEM units lasted 13 years. I don't expect these to last that long but if they do, I'll be pleasantly surprised...if I keep the car that long!

Good product 4 the $ its worth the time just remeber to get an aligment. Or its an interesting ending. replaced them even though I dod not need the. If your this far into it get the lower control arms also

I have had this lower ball joint installed on my 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe for about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. I had to replace the lower control arm because I got too intimate with a curb, so as a precautionary measure I replaced this as well.

I bought 3 of them for my Civic and my sister's Civic. The rubber boots cracked open a few months after installation. Now one of them is having a small play at 55 000 km.
