Pretty and Elegant!
They are a bit smaller (they are about 3/8" x 7/16") and the stones a bit darker blue than I imagined but they are truly lovely. The stones sparkle brilliantly and the backs feel secure.These are a gift for my stepdaughter. She has the matching ring, which belonged to her sister, who passed suddenly last year. We are confident that she will love them. Now she will have something of her own as well as something that was her sister's that go together.

Lovely but would be lovelier if accent stones were smaller
I like this style of earrings - center gemstone surrounded by a halo of smaller accent stones. I have several earrings (different gemstones) in this style. These created sapphire earrings are not too big and are lovely. But they would have been even more beautiful if the accent stones were smaller. When I compare these to my other earrings, the ones with smaller accent stones look more elegant/classy than these. Big accent stones make these sapphire earrings look like costume jewelry. For the price ($8.57 this August, down from ~$38) though, I can live with these. :) On a side note, about a week after my purchase, the price went down even further to $6.76. :( Maybe Amazon's discontinuing this item.
