Exactly what I was looking for
This is exactly what I was looking for. Design, size, color, all on target.A couple of observations on design ....The lid has a generously proportioned bump along the inside edge to keep the lid from sliding off the pot when pouring the last contents out of the pot. Designers who omit this feature have never used a tea pot. Here's something I don't especially like: inside the pot where the contents depart the tea pot proper to enter the neck, the exit is NOT a single hole. Instead this exit is composed of seven small holes (about 1/4 inch in diameter) -- six in a circle with one more in the center of the circle. The only reason I can imagine for this design is the notion that these small holes would serve as a sort of coarse sieve, to strain out tea leaves which are floating freely in the liquid inside the pot. Is this how people are making tea for themselves? Do they really dump loose tea leaves in a pot and add hot water? I thought tea bags and infusers had been the rage for many decades now!The result of this design, of course, is to make it difficult to clean out the neck of the tea pot, at least in the way I've done in the past -- i.e. to roll up a paper towel into a long, thin, and flexible straw, then to insert this into the neck, down into the cavity of the pot, and to pull it back and forth to dislodge deposits inside the neck of the teapot. Oh well. I guess I'll havae to purchase some pipe cleaners now.For the picky, here's a couple of observations ...For most folks, the color of the "plum" edition will be rich chocolate brown, with an almost subliminal note of blue. I can't help but wonder if it were some marketing factotum who insisted that this pot be sold as "plum" colored. It ~is~ a very pleasing shade of brown, especially since I use it in the mornings to hold my cafe au lait. The capacity is 32 fluid ounces. I measured this carefully with a kitchen measuring cup. This is barely six five-ounce "tea cups" of capacity. Many in the reviews complain, thinking that the pot will be 48 fluid ounces in capacity. Nope, it's 32. Fine by me. Thirty-two ounces of very strong cafe au lait in the morning is plenty for me.The price is great. The free shipping is great. It arrived in four days, safe and sound.

Arrived broken
Just what my 96 yr old mother wanted but she was disappointed it arrived broken. Replacement being sent but will have to do a return on this one which is not ideal since we don't drive.

The right size
The right size for one or two people, I don't need a larger pot as most of the time it's just me and when my granddaughter comes but she usually doesn't have time for more then a cup.

Perfect teapot.
I love this. It is the perfect teapot. As others have stated, the handle remains cool, it doesn't drip, it looks great too. The color is just what I hoped, I deep purple, not showy purple. I use it daily, use it in microwave and dishwasher.Everything arrived well packed.I purchased a tea warmer from them also that you use tealights in. I'd highly recommend one to go with it. Keeps a perfect temperature for 2-4 hours (depending on the tealight). Wonderful for daily tea drinkers.

Small teapot
This holds about 4 mugs. It is a nice teapot if you use tea cups.

Very functional.
This is a great inexpensive sturdy teapot. It pours nicely and doesn’t drip everywhere. The color was as expected. It’s a larger size which is also nice for company.

Showed Up Broken
Seems like it was packaged by a 5 year old with no concept of gravity. The lid and the stem was all broken off. Sending the broken bits back was going to cost me more that it was worth. Guess it makes a good ashtray for my guests out in the back yard...........thanks for that.
