I bought this for my shepherd/ wolf that had major weight issues. She was barely at 60lbs when she should have been closer to 105lbs, while I did not feed her this everyday, she has food sensitivities, I did a few times a week and even that helped so much! She now weighs closer to 90lbs and look so beautiful, no more skinny dog. Her coat is silky and smooth too! So very happy with this product, thank you so much. I will most certainly order more when we need it. Totally would recommend this to anyone looking to add some weight to their dogs.

We purchased this product for our pitbull because no matter how much we fed her she still looked a little undernourished. We tried different foods, always purchasing top of the line food for both her and our basenji mix. The pit was the only one who didn't seem to gain sufficient weight until we introduced the Formula Mass Weight Gainer to her food. We've been using it for nearly 2 weeks now and we could already see some difference. We weren't looking to make her stocky or overly muscular, just enough to give her enough build where she looked healthy. She looks amazing and we could see shes added some muscle to her build without having done anything different other than add this supplement to her food. We will continue to use this product to maintain her healthy weight!

Have an Irish wolfhound who should be around 170 but is at 130 because he thinks he’s a human and the picky b*stard won’t eat dog food. He just grazes at it like a horse. I used to have to make him custom food just to get a little weight on him and it was a huge effort. I got this product and I give him 4 scoops every day with olive oil, applesauce, mashed potatoes, and his regular ten cups of dogfood, and BAM - he has put on weight and it’s only been like two weeks. I literally can see the weight gain happening. He’s not bony, you can’t see his ribs, and he looks fuller. Still has a way to go but I’m thrilled. I bought another container because this works awesome. I have two other dogs that are normal and eat their food so luckily I only have to use it for this picky one, because it is a little pricey. Worth every penny though.

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now. I have a year old German Shepherd who is a show dog. She had a few months with no shows so I didn’t really worry about having her at the “perfect” weight. She’s a working line so she has a lot of energy and burns off fat like nothing! I bought this stuff to help her gain weight before her next show (the show was about a month and a half after I purchased this) but I haven’t noticed a difference in body condition. I’ve been using a high protein/ high fat canned food and mixing it with a scoop of powder and a scoop of dry food and she gets that twice a day and she’s free fed dry food. Even with all this, not noticing a difference. She’s put a pound or two on but still leaner than I would like for using so much of this product every day! It’s not a miracle fix like tall the other reviews claim. It has given her a big energy boost since starting it but that’s not a great thing when she’s already bouncing off the walls as usual. Lol

I used this with both of my Beaucerons with fantastic results. One is a 1yr male that gets a bit ribby now and then as he continues to grow. I added some to his food for about a week and he filled out beautifully without having to increase his kibble intake. The other (and the primary reason for this purchase) is a 3yr female that has always been incredibly hard to keep weight on. This worked perfectly for her! Added to her kibble once every day and she has put on a perfect amount of weight and looks fantastic. I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and will be buying more in the future to keep her looking great. The customer service from the MVP company is also great. They emailed to make sure the product was doing what I needed and to see if I had anymore questions, and after discussing my feeding practices they offered further suggestions to help things out.

Great customer service and great product. My EXTREMLY picky Great Dane loves it and he has gained at least 8-10 pounds while being on this product for nearly 3 weeks. Placing another order for the larger quantity since I ordered the smaller bag to see if my dog liked it. My Dane basically stopped eating after moving and therefore, lost a considerable amount of weight. So much so, that his lower spine was starting to poke through. He now gladly eats with the supplement. I have not weighted him to see the total weight gain, but he is looking like his normal self again. Now, I will be working on maintaining his weight with the supplement.UPDATE 2017: I continue to put my dog on this whenever he drops weight since he's so picky. This supplement always helps him come back to his normal weight. He has been going through some medical issues and dropped down to 139lbs. I started him back on this and now he's up to 155lbs after 3 weeks - right where he should be.

Good stuff -- I think. My 17 year old border collie mix had gotten so thin -- she ate, some, but she was constantly losing weight until I could see her ribs. I needed something to give her more nutrition than she was getting from kibble plus meat/cheese/fish/eggs/rice that I'd add. I have to say that after about five days on this product, she's looking better. She loves it -- that helps. I mix it with kibble plus meat, plus chicken stock, and she's eating far more than she was eating before -- she cleans up a big bowl, and then goes to finish up what my other dog, a puppy, might have left -- so it seems to be stimulating her appetite too. It's only been a few days, long term, I"m not sure how it will all work out, but I'd say my dog has gained a couple of pounds, and shes seems to have more energy, and certainly more interest in food. That being the case, I'm perfectly pleased! Wish I'd though of getting a supplement like this several months ago -- but? better late than never.
