Gets the job done and a good value for the money
I was mildly surprised at the quality of stainless steel and sturdy construction for this price point. Especially helpful in the design are the double filters: having foamed milk with a single filter French Press, this really does make foaming milk quick work and the weight of the filter and stem aids the action. Although the lid fits the cup loosely but well, I feel that it could have been better nested for a feeling of higher quality but this does not interfere with practical use at all. The plastic bead at the top of the lid allows for a firm grip in holding down the lid to foam the milk efficiently and, with warmed milk, provides a plentiful supply of milk foam in under a minute. Trying it on a national brand of Soymilk, it produced even more foam than dairy. This is a lot easier and more fun to use than trying to do this in a French Press! This frother is heartily recommended.

Love it!
I’ve been using this pump frother multiple times a day for months now and I love it. I pour my preheated milk into it and pump while waiting for my moka pot coffee to brew. Does a great job adding volume to the milk, even better than my $200 breville frother. Would recommend a thousand times.

Easy and fun to use
I enjoy going to coffee shops for special coffees. I don't enjoy the higher prices. When I saw this delightful frothed, I took a chance. It has paid for itself many times over. It's perfect in size: one cup at a time, so nothing wasted, hand operated, no batteries, want your coffee with more froth? Just a few more pumps. And, it's easy to clean, so it's going to last a long time. Got one for a friend as a gift.

Exactly what I was looking for...
If you want coffee as good or better than a coffee stand this is the way to pump up your morning! We had been using a French press to froth milk, but the size was too big and lots of milk was wasted. This frother is a perfect size and the double mesh works perfectly!A couple of tips... there is no "fill line" so only fill about 1/4-1/3 of the way full before pumping, or else cream spills out the top. The stainless steel is nice because you can heat milk on the stove before frothing. The handle is a bit tight to the canister portion it's self... that design could be improved. And I'd like it if there was a rubber seal on lid to reduce spills.I tried to order a similar model from another vendor and it arrived 2X without the mesh pump and lid.So since this one came with all the pieces I'm happy!

Works Beautifully!
I had read the reviews about this product, good and bad, but decided to give it a try. I absolutely LOVE the froth that this item produces and have had none of the issues described by previous buyers who described complaints. The frother arrived in perfect condition and works beautifully! Yes, it does not have markings for milk level, but with practice one can easily figure the quantity out. It works effectively with heated milk. The plastic piece is ideally designed and placed so that the non-pumping hand can hold the lid down while placing the index and end fingers of that hand on opposite sides of the plastic piece. By holding the lid firmly in place with the non-pumping hand, the foaming milk does not leak out the top of the device; of course, one has to determine, by trial & error, how much milk to place inside so as not to have to much. And, when I'm using a large latte cup, I simply froth a 2nd batch of milk, as needed. Finally, a quick rinse under hit milk easily cleans the device, for a soap wash and rinse immediately, or later. What a terrific find!

It's kinda crappy.
There is no max fill line, so if it is overfilled the hand holding the top secure is going to get hot milk on it. Nice. The black plastic thing beneath the plunger seems cheap. It arrived super dusty and it had been slightly damaged by being dropped. A ding on the lip. Also the screen rubs the inner wall. Metal rubbing metal. I hand wash my frothers because they are used every day, the double screens are a little hard to wash, and I don't notice a difference in the amount of foam produced. I wouldn't purchase again. Bodum sells a glass frother that is excellent. I recommend that over this any day. Lesson learned.

it works but is very messy....
The pitcher and frother are very sturdy. For me, there are a few problems with this: You cannot see the level of froth so it may come out the top before you know it. The frother does not go all the way to the bottom so you have to put in more liquid than you may like. The lid is hollow so it collects the froth. When you take it off it drips everywhere. I thought of returning it for the Bodium glass one (which I have) but as long as I have a sink near by, I should be okay. It makes fairly decent froth with raw milk.
