Leather Handcrafted Belt OWB Holster for Colt Detective 38 Special (R.H)

This holster is well made and comfortable to wear. It fits my 38 Colt Detective Special perfectly. It's difficult to find holsters for older model revolvers, this is great. Good job!

Well made. At first I was concerned that it did not completely cover the trigger but then I realized that like a nice leather baseball glove it needs to stretch around what it is meant to hold. I pressed the gun all the way in to the point of covering the trigger and left it over night, works perfect. The forward tilt is a FBI style design meant to be worn under a coat with a it draws best from the 5 o clock position for a straight, strong wrist.

Good for the price, super thin and stiff upon arrival. I've got the pistol stored in the holster in its case for the moment, hoping it further molds to the gun.

This is a great little holster. I bought it for a 1963 Colt Detective Special, and it fits perfectly. It is handmade in Istanbul. The leather is supple and molded to perfection. I would recommend it for anyone looking to conceal carry one of these classic guns with old-school flair.

Very happy with the product. It was reasonably priced and fit my revolver (colt detective special) as advertised. Also received a nice note from the craftsman who made it. It was a nice personal touch.

Nice enough leather but too floppy for a carry holster. Pistol sags and doesn't stay tight against your body. Holster needs to be more rigid.

This Merchant is a good dude and has very nice stuff! I have bought from him before, but this holster nicely made its beautiful however the fit was Very disappointing I bought this thing to fit my Colt Detective special in 38 spl made in 1974 D frame my barrel stuck out the bottom of the holster by a good 1/8" and the retaining strap goes over the top of the grip and not the hammer. This design has me concerned of the possibility of the gun snagging on something and pulling the gun out of the holster ,and falling out of the holster NOT good . In my opinion the fit is real sloopy and has Zero retention. But on the positive side this holster is very nicely made with a nice liner inside it and this merchant has been great and i did get it in a timely manner considering it came all the way from Turkey! just a poor design for the Colt detective special or Colt Cobra I took a chance due to its low price !
