Very nice, slim fountain pen for the price
I bought this fountain pen in black, with a medium nib and I'm so pleased with it. Having bought Chinese-made fountain pens online before and found them to be poor quality, I was slightly concerned when I saw how badly the instruction leaflet has been translated and wondered if this would be a shoddy product, but in fact it's great. The box is distinctive and smart-looking and properly lined, and the pen itself is sleek, slender and a good weight. It comes with a proper refillable cartridge rather than disposable ones so you can fill it yourself very easily with the ink of your choice - much better for the environment than disposable plastic cartridges and it means you can pick whichever ink you like in your preferred colour (I use Parker Quink in black). The medium nib wrote very smoothly from the moment I started using it - I didn't have to test it at different angles or make several strokes to get it to start working, like you do with some cheaper pens - and has been great ever since. It doesn't leak or blot, doesn't skip and doesn't scratch - it's a pleasure to write with. The barrel of the pen is on the shorter side, which might take a little getting used to if you usually write with something a little longer, but I would recommend placing the lid on the end of the pen when you're writing with it, which for me balances the pen perfectly for my grip. All in all, it's an excellent little pen for the price - lovely quality and a real bargain, which means I'm not nervous about using it at work or taking it out with me in my bag, as I know a replacement would be affordable if I lost or dropped it. I'm even tempted to buy it a a couple of other colours so I can switch ink colours for note-taking.

Good pen, quality feel
My pen is the Picasso 916 Malage. The presentation box is a bit over the top, but inside is a well made metal pen of straight forward design, finished in orange with chrome plated ends, clip and band. Cap and nib carry picasso logo, and nib section and converter a signature. Click on cap has plastic lining and posts securely. Grip section is a little smooth, but pen is comfortable to use either with, or without the cap posted. It comes with a removable ink converter. The pen writes well, wet, with no hard starts or skipping. Reversed it produces a good fine line. The nib is firm. Have also used it for drawing/sketching, and it works well. I have had the pen for a week, and used it with Waterman's brown ink on various papers. Overall, I cannot help liking it!

A sportsman's pen
This lovely orange-yellow pen writes as boldly as it looks. It has a slim body, and about the right length for most hands, but if you post the cap, the extra length can give it a little more balance, and the feel is perfect. The steel nib is somewhere between a fine and a medium, which I find ideal for most purposes. The result is that the ink flows smoothly and the pen is a joy to use. I tested this with my current favourite ink, the Diamine Asa Blue, and I can go on writing all night.

Pen never worked properly.
I did everything I could — everything recommended by the manufacturer’s website — but I could never get this pen to work (& I’ve used fountain pens before; I know what I’m doing). But the nib must be faulty, because the ink never flowed. It’s a shame. The weight of it was good, and if it had worked, this might have been a great pen. Unfortunately, it’s not been usable from the start. Hopefully I can return it.

Interesting...
It's a beautiful pen. It feels nice. Writing with it is lovely, though a bit scratchy. (Then again, it's a fine nib...that does happen with fine nibs)The cap eases onto the pen beautifully. The decoration and decals are lovely. The grip is a little slippy, which make it slightly annoying to write with at times.

Pleasant to use
I'm really pleased with this pen. It's a comfortable weight and size and I enjoy writing with it. It doesn't leak into the lid like the Lamy pen I bought it to replace.

A Little Gem.
Altogether a nice pen. It has exceeded expectation, in that it writes beautifully and the ink flows well. No scratchiness or clotting. I had bought this as it is very similar in styling (Nib-wise) to the Lamy 2000Fountain Pen and just as importantly as a writing instrument it does not disappoint. I could also see an sketch artist benefitting from the extra fine fine nib, it is that good. It is a lacquered finish so do expect fingerprints which may or may not bother you too much! All in all, a fine writing instrument that won't break the bank.

A lovely pen
I love this pen, but the cap can be rather difficult to pull off. It's wedged right on the pen! But it posts well, so that's all good. The packaging is amazing; the kind you'd expect from a very high end pen. All in all, a very nice pen that is nice to write with. I'd recommend it.
