Bought this lip balm in the color blood orange and it’s great! I like that the color is buildable, with a few swipes it becomes a bright red. It fades to a natural flushed color, no cracking or patchiness. The formula is soft, moisturizing, with a subtle shine. Not waxy or too thick. I wish there were more color options!

My 1st time buying a honest beauty product. I got the blood orange lip balm. It was Okay. It is extremely sheer, almost clear. It looks like just a plain lip balm. At first it feels super moisturizing, but after about an hour, my lips felt dry and "tight". I reapplied and my lips still felt cracked even though my lips looked well greased and oiled from the balm. Very odd, never had this happen to me when applying my usual carmex. Over all, this was a waste of $9. I do not recommend this product.

I honestly think I will use up this whole lip balm this summer. I love it so much! It’s moisturizing, has an initial gloss like look with the perfect tint. Dries down so nicely. It’s my favorite everyday item for the summer!

Somewhat moisturizing and left a nice buildable color. If your lips are dry the color will cling to those dry parts and will show up more heavily there. Smells exactly like playdough which isn’t lovely. Question why all the pictures are in a white container but received them in a black one.

I have the tinted lip balm in Blood Orange. The color is super pretty, and natural. It is the reddish pink like the flesh of a blood orange (not the peel). It is very close in color to my lips. Adds subtle shine and a healthy boost of color.No discernible taste, smell, nor sticky feelIt's pretty wild, I don't feel like I have anything on my lips- they just feel lightly moist and hydrated, but not coated. Neither the color nor the shine is going to last long. Pretty typical for a lip balm or gloss. As for moisture, yeh I think lips will be hydrated for several hours. I didn't feel the need to put on more (like how some can make you feel the need to keep applying?), but I did just because tinted balms are fun.I did try to see if I could get a deeper color or a longer lasting color by applying some powder then following up with a few cycles of apply, blot, apply, blot, and apply again. It deepened it a little. I think I would go that route if I were looking to get a good base with intention of reapplying as the day (or evening) wore on. Or for pics.I think it is easy color. Like, you want a color boost but not have to worry about it being too heavily applied, unevenly applied, or outside the lip lines. Just swipe across the lips, no mirror needed. The blood orange is actually a great subtle reddish color. I wear it every day. It’s now one of my basic make up essentials.I’m not a lip stick kind of gal. Trying to figure out lip color tends to make me feel like a clown...but I feel better with a little something on my lips. This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Easy, looks beautiful, feels nice.I don’t agree with the reviews that say this product tastes and smells awful. But it is just sort of make up tasting. If you don’t like products that are unnecessarily fragrance or flavored, then this is for you.

I love the color, the formula, the tube it comes in & of course, that it’s made by The Honest Company. I have several colors now & this one is awesome. I’m a strawberry blonde going grey. Im 63 years old & have fair skin & this looks great on my complexion. My daughter (31) has dark blonde hair & olive skin & it also looks great on her. We both agree that this is the best tinted lip balm either of us has ever used. It’s so smooth & creamy. It’s not real shiny like a lip gloss. It’s like the moistest, creamiest lipstick you can possibly want but it’s a balm! You have to try this. It’s good for your lips. It adds moisture to mine & protects them. I LOVE this balm! I am very fair skinned and originally did not have the blood orange in my cart because I usually do not go for orange. But after seeing other reviews with pictures of the blood orange, I decided to try it. I love it!!!! The shade is like warm pink. It feels great while on. I am so happy with the color!
