Acti-Form Cool Dressing, 10 x 10 cm, Pack of 5

I used Acti-Form Cool covered with a Biatain foam dressing pad (all cut to cover well size) under an ulcer fit compression stocking after cleansing the wound and surrounding area with Hibiscrub solution. This, I repeated, cleansing and redressing when the biting stinging pain returned. This proceedure eased the pain for me considerably and my persistent growing ulcer previously treated unsuccessfully by the nurse at my local surgery cleared completely within weeks!

Cooling my leg pain, would like to order more

I found the acti- form really cooling on my skin after finishing radiotherapy; especially as my skin had broken down and was trying to heal. It made wearing clothes a lot more comfortable.

I applied this to a superficial burn my boyfriend had on his arm, while initially he said it felt amazing this stuck to his arm and made the wound worse. I had read up on the dressing and used it as a primary dressing, followed by Ksoft and klite. He woke in the morning and the gel had completely hardened and adhered to his arm. We soaked it off but it was extremely painful for him. Really disappointed in this. I would say only use this for immediate relief to cool a burn and ease pain, but not as a dressing

Fatastic! Have taken my leg ulcer from a pain score of off the scale to a three. Cool the ulcer soothe the ulcer and if you have lipodermatosclerosis or any skin condition of the surrounding area they don't cause itching or cause the surrounding skin to break down. Have saved me a ton of misery.

I bought these after years of problems, with my husbands leg ulcers. These are a god send, they have properties chemically inside them, that cure chronic leg ulcers. Well recommended over all over dressing for the similar treatment. Well recommended and cost effective.
