I was extremely sceptical of anything other than major brands that cost $400. I drive tractor trailer locally in Buffalo and I can absolutely confirm this avoids the maze of low bridges in the city, weight restrictions and I even set to avoid tolls on 90. I obviously can't confirm long haul as I no longer do that. But i would assume that If i was still running i would plan my trips ahead of time on google maps anyways with major highways and interstates and use this in the cities. Again I only do 30 miles max locally but It is spot on in the city. Considering my boss made me buy my own truck GPS $70 is HUGE over $400 products.

The device is probably a good GPS, Never got past trying to make it behave the way the directions indicate or the way the screens themselves indicate. For example, in Navigation/Destination/Find Places, the screen shows Google search. Google search doesn't work. There's no setting for WiFi connections. Although the device provides a means to save favorite POI, there is no way to organize them. They're listed in entry order and cannot be otherwise organized or even tagged, e.g. Medical, Shopping, Family, etc. This device is a huge disappointment to me. The website is not much better. I accidently downloaded what was labelled the Android GPS manual in English. It was in German. I tried to register, but my password was repeatedly rejected. There was no description of the password length or composition. Again, a huge disappointment. This is clearly an amateur attempt to program Windows CE tablet to serve as a GPS. Bottom line: not professional and incomplete.

I find the Jimway windshield mount to be weak with no cable management. After tightening the screws as much as possible the mount still moves when you press the touch screen. You have to touch the screen EVERY time it powers up. The unit does not automatically go into map tracking mode, so you have to touch the screen at least once. It will ask you to confirm destination arrival, (another screen touch and movement) if you don't it will try to direct you back to your driveway in the morning. The screen graphics are good but it is severely lacking in ergonomics of operation.

Overall, good for the price. Beware if you heavily rely upon the accuracy of the navigation system.pros:-map is updated, and works great.-route options are good-has loud turn and speed limit warning soundCons:- The major problem I found is it has bad lane navigation. It fails to consistently guide you through lanes. The lanes are either shown on top of the screen on at the bottom. It would have been helpful if the screen could be split to show the map and lanes separately for clarity and consistency.- The manual is very basic, and you have to play around with the settings to figure things out.- gps accuracy is questionable. When it says 100 feet away, it actually may be 10 feet. But you can look at the map and figure it out.

I purchased this GPS as a birthday present for my husband last year. Unfortunately, he let it sit in the bag until recently after all these months later, smh! He is a delivery truck driver and depends heavily on the GPS to get him to where he needs to be. I purchased this one for truckers thinking that it would make it a lot easier for him to navigate the truck knowing in advance the routes he needed to take to avoid things that truckers run it to on the road. First issue came with trying to type in an addresses, it wouldn't allow him to type in either the street number, name or sometimes the town. He finally was able to work around that to a degree. Then now the system has him going back to the same location over and over again. He did a lot better with just the standard GPS. Of course this purchase was made almost a year ago, so returning it is out of the question. Now, I have to look to purchase him another one! UGHHHHHHH!

I purchased this GPS for a trip to Georgia a few weeks ago. It lived up to most of the reviews that I read on Amazon. The 7” screen was easy to read. The GBS was position in the lower left corner of my vehicle and did not distract from my view.The touch screen worked as it should. It was found to be accurate when giving verbal instructions as to turns. Setting it up was a bit confusing, but once it was set I had no problem. For the cost of this GPS you can’t go wrong.

advertised for truckers. everything is off on this gps. the actual time will not go in correctly, it attepts to track breaks (messed up, cannot turn feature off). ETA to destinations are off by 8-12 HOURS!! I've only had it for 2 weeks and most routing is terrible, attempting to take me extremely out of the way due to it deporting around address it is not sure if a truck cam go but is a stated truck route. VERY CHEAP MOUNT THAT BROKE ON DAY 2. i tried to save a few dollars and decided on this made in China crap. bad decision. doesn't even make a good paper weight. updates don't work

Excellent Satellite acquisition and display. It is a little quirky. It takes some time to discover that the screen brightness can only be changed by moving back to top level.I often depart from the planned route. The system does not catch up as quickly as others, and it also can yield ludicrous results. If you stick to the original planned route it works well.I like the Bus/Truck/car feature. As a professional driver, it is aware of road restrictions for heavy vehicles.
